New Graphics Card Recognition Issue

Finally I got my new computer and of course, since it is new, the game doesn't recognize my graphics card. I searched for how to resolve this issue and so I got as far as adding mine to the graphics card sgr file so that the DeviceConfig reads
Name (database): Radeon RX 5500 XT .

First issue here is that it says Matched: 0, instead of 1. What is the problem here?

Second problem I am having is the graphics rule sgr. When I go into there, it has "NVIDIA". Now, every how-to I have seen all have NVIDIA anyway, so they do not address my specific problem and I am not sure where to go from here. I am afraid to do something wrong and really need some help with all of this.
  • Your vendor as represented in GraphicsRules would be ATI, which was what Radeon was formerly called.

Do you still have your original GraphicsRules and GraphicsCards sgr files? If so, put them back into play because something has gone wrong with your edits. Then, please open your DeviceConfig again and send me the first 40 lines or so (not the long lists of options that appear afterwards) by copy/pasting them into a PM and I'll respond with instructions specific for your card and device id number.

Formal card recognition doesn't really change that much though. An unrecognized card still gets used. Much more important than this is checking your frame rates in-game and making sure they are staying locked in at or below the refresh rate of your monitor. Most are 60 Hz, so the upper limit goal is 60 fps, some can run higher. TS3 being an older game has no functional built-in fps limiter. Have you already checked and taken care of this?
