Nothing Showing Up in Launcher

Hey guys! So me being stupid, I downloaded a game booster that was supposed to stop running unnecessary programs in the background while you were gaming. Come to find out I open up my launcher and all my installed content and worlds are gone. I launch the game, and it no longer recognizes my graphics card (which I fixed myself before) and none of my save files are on there. I go to my documents hoping that all of my CC wasn't deleted. It wasn't, and all my custom worlds, sims, and everything was still there. It seems as if the game just isn't recognizing the sims 3 folder in my documents that holds everything. So how would I get my launcher to recognize that folder again?

Thanks!
  • Is it possible that you now also have a game folder within OneDrive? The game likes to look for/put one there if it can't find the one in regular Documents especially on Win 10.

The way to tell if a game folder is being read from on startup is to right-click (not open) and select Properties on the file called DeviceConfig.log within the user game folder that we think should be used. Its modification date/time should match exactly with the last time the game was started up, or attempted to be started up.
