Okay so I really like the Sims (3!) But .... [consultation/ventilation post]

I really like the game - Sims 3, recently I've had a bit more time to play, which I haven't had for a long time, but there are some technical issues that bother me: 1- I run the game through Origin...

I can here to second what @Pary said. That link in particular to the tips for better game performance really helped me get my game to where it ran smoothly and consistently.
