Opportunities that switch to Science career?

I want my sim to eventually move to the Science career. What careers have opportunities that can switch to that?

To give some background he is almost done with a tech degree but I decided I want him to be in science instead. I don't want to have wasted my time at school so hopefully will still be ahead in career.
