Not sure exactly where the fridge bug is, but one of the NRaas mods squashes it by not allowing fridges to ever be pre-stocked at all. It sounds like it should be Overwatch, but something is telling me it might really be StoryProgression. I had forgotten all about this until I started up an ongoing game with no mods at all in order to test something cooking related recently and found 103 eggs plus too much of everything else mentioned in all of the fridges in town.
