Christine I meant that it was in the sticky post that the simgur made on Showtime. She didn't confirm it but other simmers was saying it was in.
I don't believe at all that it was included in this ep till I have proof from simsvip myself.
oh gotcha
yeah unless its one sims vp or made by a guru i dont believe it either
Yes simsvip and simprograms are very trustworthy. Pill wrote:

and ts2 was its own game made by the same exact company so what exactly is your point ?
My point is they aren't going to follow TS2. They might make remakes, but it's still its own game. Which means they can add whatever they want to it. There's no outline to follow.
"oh my gosh this is a nightlife remake and this is a superstar remake... we can't add this and this to this or it'll be all wrong"
wha? Where's the logic in that?!
what you just siad makes no sense
"they aren't going to follow TS2. They might make remakes,"
definition of remake Something in remade form, especially a new version of an earlier piece or film"
so remaking and following the sims 1/2 is the same thing the sims 2 eps are remakes of EA following their old ways with ts1.
quote me in any of my statments where i said they would never add it
i just doubt they will b.c they would've put it in late night in my opinion.
if EA starts saying they are gonna add pole dancing just watch what will happen to the sales.
they arent stupid their stupid enough to add socials but definatly not into completly destroying their seriessereia8 wrote:

I don't think pole dancing would destroy the series. The social networking will. But pole dancing wouldn't turn away teenagers and it might make adults more interested as this adds a more adult aspect to the gameplay.
social networking could be 50/50 i mean i HATE the idea of it i have played the sims since day and i dont like the idea of social or simport features at all
but lets see EA is only listening to the kids ages 12-16 who are obsessed with facebooking and texting and tweeting and whatever else so i mean life-long fans such as myself will most definatly eventually leave the series but if enough kids chime in i'm sure the sims will stay around.- catloverplayerSeasoned AceAlso I was talking about with their clothes on. I don't want people getting the wrong idea. I'm not talking nothing m rated.

which is why it wont be added people more so parents will get the wrong idea a their goes ea sales down the drain more with showtime vs how bad their sales will be since most dont want the social crap- What? I was told that it WAS confirmed

unless simgurunelson has edited her post or you've heard it from a reliable source such as sims vp/simprograms then it's probably fake- You should not believe anything you hear, especially if it comes from another player. Someone said something about there being hotels in this expansion pack, but that has never been confirmed.
And I went and reread SimGuru Snelson's post. There is *nothing* in there that indicates pole dancing will be in the expansion pack. As far as I'm concerned, this is just some player blowing hot air just to get attention. No pole dancing in this expansion pack. - I'm a little confused about the opposition to this idea. Personally, I couldn't care less whether it's included or not, though a new exercise or something would be pretty nifty, but pole dancing is, plain and simple, a form of exercise. It's almost identical to the ribbon work that lots of child gymnasts do, which is an activity that is pretty much never questioned.
What people do while pole dancing is an entirely separate issue. Often, if you think that pole dancing is a strictly "adult" activity, then you're the one with the problem. Obviously you can't see things except through an "adult" lens. In that case, you should have just as much as a problem with other features of the game.
As a result, including this activity wouldn't make that much difference to the game. Of course, some conservative people would be hesitant, but as long as it's a clothed performance/exercise, there's no big deal and I think most people would see that. It's definitely not different to the caged dancing from Sims 1 or worse than the lingerie in the next stuff pack. For those concerned parents, I have one suggestion: don't let your kids use it, if it's a real concern; then again, letting your child's Sims pole dance is no worse than letting them WooHoo.
In regards to the original post, I have not heard any confirmation of pole dancing as of yet, although there was something in the video (and I really can't remember where it was) that actually did make me think that maybe it would be included as part of an acrobat's performance. - Why would somebody want it anyways? For what purpose? To watch them? They are sims. Thats a little creepy.
