What about the cake dancers from TS1? What about the bachelor and bachelorette parties in TS3? What about the french maids in every version?
What about casual woohoo in public places? What about adultery and child neglect?

The sims series is filled with moral and ethical indecencies. I don't think a dance pole would destroy them.

Because pole dancing seems have close tie to showtime and late night. :D Besides, I also wish they bring back slow dance.

not sure how showtime and pole dancing relate but alright then

there is a difference between professional dancing and pole dancing

I feel pole dancing would be a viable option for showtime. Anyone watch America's Got Talent? There was a pole dancer on there one year. It was very artistic and very much like a dance. Very entertaining, in my opinion. I think it would fit in with the aerobatics nicely. :)

Of course, with some of the 'mods' out there it's only a matter of time until someone creates a er... 'Gentleman's' club.

^ all you would need is to put male bathroom doors on the place so the female sims can't get in. i know someone on ms3b did that to their club for a 'gay club'.

I don't know if pole dancing is in the EP or not but it wouldn't have to raise the rating.

Pole dancing has come out of the night clubs and is now used by all sorts of people. It's become a valid dance form that is a very good exercise and taught in dance studios. It's simply one of those things that is what you make of it. If you're dancing on a stage in an exotic dancers outfit...yes it's more mature, but there are people all over the country learning it. Just Google pole dancing lessons and you might be surprised to find out it's being taught to middle class Moms in your town.

I think pole dancing would have been an interesting addition for the acrobat career. It's used in some of Cirque Du Soleil's shows. :D
