Possible Reason Why the Sims 3 Store is Staying

EA/Maxis has to keep a way for customers that purchased any items out of the Sims 3 Store to retrieve their stuff any items you purchased from the store does not make the transition to the new app as I discovered and if I want them I have to pay again and it is not cheap. The only way EA/Maxis can think about closing the store is allowing valid customers to DL each purchase as an executable file like it was done in Sims 2 and I like it that way. The only packs that make it over are the standard packs like the EPs, SPs. However, the way they got it now is too cumbersome.

As long as there are people buying store stuff, it will probably stay around. When I see people solve their issues with, for example, the EA app by throwing more money at the game, I can't exactly find an incentive for EA to improve matters. Quite the opposite.

@Goldmoldar I'm not sure what you are looking for in the EA app? Store items are handled by the Sims3 store and the Sims3 launcher.
