Quick Questions about nose-masks (for those who use them)

Well, hopefully we'll get an answer soon. :D

Generally, nose masks are makeup put in the blush category that contour the nostrils and nose tip, with that in mind,

1. Just pick a few and see what they do, if you like them, keep them. If you don't, you can try again.
2. Yes, it does nothing to the nose sliders, you can still reshape them, although I usually find the nosemask to fit the nose and not the other way around.
3. You customize it just like you would any other makeup.

Nose masks don't change the shape of the nose at all. They just give the illusion with shading. If you don't blend them well they look terrible! I personally don't use them although I have a ton of them installed.

Yeah. Some simmers make extremely pale sims with red noses. Not sure if they are supposed to look like albinos or sick. :tongue:

I've always found that a really weird trend too. Like the sims have some kind of cold or something, with these bright red noses. I've seen ear blush as well like that, which I do use on some of my aliens for colouring.
I don't use nose masks either, but some of the Simblr's I follow blend them really well, and until I see a CC list, never have known they've actually used one.

Experimented a bit with the nose masks on a couple of Sims.

So it's interesting. Still gotta experiment some more.

I don't know th answer, but I am on board with you because I don't understand them either. I have a whole bunch but I just don't get it? LOL

@Peach77 - Thanks a ton for your answer. :) I've gone a bit crazy downloading some nosemasks; just managed to grab Tifa V2 as well as Kurasoberina's. Will try to work on a new sim and see how it goes. :)

You did really well with them @Nikkei_Simmer ! I Still can't quite get the coloring right and it makes me sad because I think the masks look amazing if done properly.
