Reinstalled the Sims 3 after all these years, but Create A World won't work. Problem Solved!
I successfully reinstalled my Sims 3 collection via Origin, and than I re-downloaded and re-installed Create A world. However when I try to open Create a World, it crashes, and I get this message, "Attempted to read or Write protected memory. This is often an indication that the other memory is corrupt." I down loaded it from http://www.sims3createaworld.com/. I am unable to download it from the official EA site for some reason. I get a blank box when I try to do that.
Thankfully the Sims 3 itself is working perfectly. So there is that at least. I still want to be able to get back to map making again, which is the biggest thing lacking from the Sims 4, at this point, in my opinion.
I'm sorry that I haven't been here on these forums in such a long time, only to come back and ask for help in getting old software to work on a new computer. Does anyone here have any idea how to solve this problem?
