Reinstalled the Sims 3 after all these years, but Create A World won't work. Problem Solved!

I successfully reinstalled my Sims 3 collection via Origin, and than I re-downloaded and re-installed Create A world. However when I try to open Create a World, it crashes, and I get this message, "A...

You know I just solved the problem. I was able to download it from the official site vie Internet explorer and it appears to be working now. I guess I should have waited until posting this here. Oh well, just know to use Internet explorer to download if from EA, if all else fails.
