Wait, so the save did start to show up and gives a message you don't have the world installed? I think sometimes I've gotten away with moving world files and sometimes not, and I just got to the point where, when making a new folder, I always reinstall them and don't waste time trying to move them. I did a LOT of that a while back when I decided to make completely separate sims 3 documents folders for different games I play. I had, like igazor mentioned, not only too many saves in my folder, but too many worlds installed for everything to show up, and it was easier for me to go that route than to keep juggling what was in the folders and what was pulled out.
