Sim will not age up!*SOLVED*

Question

I’ve been trying for an hour to age an infant to a toddler and he just won’t age up! I’ve tried resetting him and his birthday still cancels out even after I trigger the age transition. Help me please or I’m deleting the save and possibly the whole game.

I reloaded without saving and triggered his birthday and it worked!

It's for reasons like this that I always now recommend doing "Save As" with multiple save files as backups at least once per sim day so you don't lose much playtime when you get glitches like that.

Go to the Options Menu, set the span for infants to 2 days, and see if will age up without prompting.
