Sims 3 launcher not working

Is the Sims 3 under maintenance right now? I just bought a bunch of stuff in the store, but it won't download to my launcher. It keeps telling me to log in, even though I am already logged in. When I type in my password (even though I'm logged in) It just refreshes as if the password is wrong (it's not). When I click on 'welcome' on the launcher, it displays a "the website can not be displayed' info icon. My internet is clearly working lol. Is this happening to anyone?

    'Can we confirm on the IE reset that not only are the cache (temporary files) and cookies being cleared, but the option to "Preserve Website Favorites Data" is de-selected? And that this is IE we are talking about and not Edge or the other browsers?

    On your store account not reflecting your prior purchases correctly, afraid only EA Customer Service can help with that. Even the Answers.HQ board helpers cannot access your account or reset it if that is what is needed. '
