Sims 3 Logic - (Amusing Anecdotes)

I almost punched my computer screen. I started a new game, as usual deleting the lone sims entire bank account after buying a large property. He's newly married and just had a son. The baby was green across the board and Mom, Dad and baby all went to sleep, in the middle of the yard (I've gotten a foundation around the perimeter of the house, some basic furniture (bed, fridge, crib etc.) but very little in the way of walls. I watched the baby's needs run down and gave instructions for Mom to take care of them as soon as I woke her up. I did so about three in the morning, so she could care for the kid before it woke Dad up, since he had to be at work in the morning. She took too long to get out of bed, and Dad was awake 'react to noisy sim'. I sent him straight back to bed, since the kid was quieted already (Mom was close, but not quite in time) since Mom was getting him out just as he started to cry. Unfortunately, the kid let out little staccato bursts for a bit, each one waking Dad up again. I noticed the bladder was about to pop, so I added change diaper to the end of the list, even though it wasn't quite dirty yet (but oh so close). Mom's bladder was about to pop too. The kid's bladder popped and Mom put him back in the crib dirty so she could go potty. This time, when I postponed Mom's bladder break, she just stood there at the crib fussing about the crying baby. Two hours later, I sent Dad to the vicinity of work (a couple hours early) just to get him away from the noise. I felt that sorry for him. The next night I was able to afford to wall in the bathroom and locked the kid up in there so smaller outbursts won't wake up the sleeping parent.
