Small diagonal white lines on objects and icons

Hello everyone,

After a while, I decided to play a little Sims 3 again. However, I was immediately turned off because I saw these white little (diagonal) lines running across (in this case) a bed, through certain menu options and in B/B mode on the icons for the objects.
Is there a way to remedy this? My game runs perfectly, so that's not the issue here.

I run Windows 10 with all updates, and have the following RAM, videocard and processor:
RAM: 16GB
videocard: Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti, 4GB
processor: i5 7600K, 3.8 GHZ

I have all the expansions and stuffpacks, and have used nvidia inspector to pump up the anti aliasing.
but further than that, nothing.

I hope you guys can help!
  • This started happening suddenly where it was not happening before? Any pattern as to the objects affected, such as are they CC or EA items? Are the drivers for your video card up to date, with updates coming from the computer manufacturer (first choice), or Nvidia (second choice), but not from Microsoft?

Have you cleared the five cache files on the top level of your user game folder lately?

Frame rate (fps) is capped and staying capped when checked in-game with the fps on cheat code?

Well, I did all that, but it seems that just running on the game's AA, works for now... I tested it out.
