So...what exactly causes corruption of save games?

I noticed that in TS3, my saves tend to corrupt/bug out after a certain amount of time. Like I created one and played it for a significant amount of time until it got corrupted to the point of unplaya...

I think it just lists cc if it finds any at all, whether it has any relation to the crash or not.
TS3 needs some care to keep a game running for a longer time. There can be lots of different reasons for crashes.
