hahaha and here i was thinking that i am the slowest player in the world! i do not play regularly and all the time. but when i play, it gets rather intense for a few weeks. i usually get bored with my project and families after they are rich. and hardly get beyond generation 3 or so. i am so excited that i discovered challenges because it gives my gaming purpose. plus the writing of course is fun too.
my other problem - at least since the sims 3 - is that my game gets corrupted. and it does not help to have several saves ingame. they all get corrupted at once. and then whole saves start disappearing. i have not found a solution to this but the workaround that I do backup my actual sims saves folder regularly. this way i do not have to start from scratch completely. which is frustrating and ruins my enjoyment and then i just move on to play something else.
i have also decided to add some more drama to my stories because otherwise, again, boredom hovers. and JUST when i decided there needs to be some earlier deaths in my game (like teenagers left to their own devices or something), guess what happens last night? i had a real death in-game. i did not cause it on purpose even! i have never had that happen to me before, my sim actually got electrocuted when fixing a stereo! oh it was very tragic. i am not gonna say any more about it for now. but there sure is some excitement coming. not very soon though because my game is so far ahead of the storytelling lol
