I have two questions about the rules that I hope somebody can clarify for me.
Just like previous versions of the Sims EA games as provided us with some base families like the Goths, Bachelors, Roomies etc. So under the heading "Moving Sims in" it says that we can move in any Sim except for Sims we have created, downloaded, former household members that have moved out, or Sims that are identified as rich. Does this mean that our founder or future heirs can marry Sims from these EA generated families?
What happens if the person my founder wants to marry has a child already? Can that child be moved in to the house as well?
Here is a reason for my questions. Yesterday when I was playing my Sim met a women downtown and found out she was single. He dated her for awhile and eventually he asked her to move-in. When he did I discovered that she was one of the members of the EA created "Single Moms" family and that she had a daughter. Would it have been within the rules to move both her and her daughter into my legacy family?
I appreciate anyone who can clear up this for me. And thanks Pinstar for the great challenge.
From the things I've read in this thread, having the daughter move in is fine, however that daughter would be considered like a step daughter and would not be part of your legacy bloodline and would not be able to earn points. She can move in though!
