Another poll! Yes, I know...but I think they are fun! :blush:Which ONE trait do you find the most annoying in the Sims 3 for your sims to have? I have created a list of the Top 9 Traits that I find the most annoying in the game and never give to my Sims (maybe on a very rare occasion when I'm creating a certain sim for a story). And I want to see how many people agree with me. ;)#1 is the trait I really never ever ever give my Sims and that is Never Nude. (So that's my vote) Because c'mon, who showers with their clothes on and is honestly never nekkid in life? Sorry Connor it is the only trait of yours I despise!! Though I refuse to change his traits and have learned to live with it. <3 (that's true Simmy love)

I don't like daredevil. The first sim I had that had it and saw them eat dirt I decided it was the most useless trait of all. Eating dirt is not a daredevil, hang gliding off a cliff, ballooning, sky diving etc is. Eating dirt should have been under childish.

I almost voted for Grumpy, since its only effect in-game is to impart a daylong -20(?) moodlet for no apparent reason. But I'm a control freak in TS3, and the one thing I can't stand is planning entire sequences for my sims only to have them drop the entire queue without warning. I would be so upset to move the camera to check on someone else, only to return and see a sim that was supposed to be skilling (or eating, or maxing fun before work) instead staring off into space, or autonomously messing with an object (like a stove) that they have no business using. I can work around the other traits, annoying as they may be.Btw I actually like the Snob trait for certain sims, although I inevitably move them out. They roll wishes to have 2/3/5/10 rich friends, which are quite valuable, and they're always eager for someone to paint a portrait of them, which is easy when I have a level 10 painter (in every game, sooner or later). I think the trait is fitting for a sim in the business career or the spouse of a rock star. Having said that, eventually I decide that they can be snobs somewhere besides my legacy house, and out they go.

I guess I never liked Snob because I don't like Snobs in real life! :lol:

I'll agree that most of the traits you listed are most definitely annoying, although over time, I've kind of developed a soft spot for some childish and clumsy sims. The very first sim I think of though who annoyed me nearly to death had the irresistible trait. She kept me sooo busy trying to keep her from ruining other relationships - totally not worth the effort. Eventually, I had to give her a trait change to keep my own sanity.

I like these polls, too, and I didn't expect to. They've been a lot of fun so far.

@emorrill Absent minded for sure. I once had an Investigator sim with this trait... worst combination ever! Never again lol.

I'm not a big fan of Vehicle Enthusiast. I find it useless. There are quite a few I try to avoid.

Hydrophobic - seems like a total waste of a trait slot. It makes your Sims hate not only swimming, but also bathing. Even as a kid who didn’t like baths, I recognised that they were good for me, and without them I’d end up all stinky and that wouldn’t be good for anyone, least of all myself. But with this trait, the Sim will actually cry after bathing, which I find to be kinda ridiculous.

Unlike the Loves to Swim trait, which gives a boost to the Scuba Diving skill, a better chance of winning a fight with a shark, and a little positive moodlet while the Sim is swimming (which is great for the lifeguard career), the Hydrophobic trait gives no useful perks. To me, it doesn’t even seem like a trait that would give a Sim much personality. Therefore it stands as my choice for most annoying trait.
