Ayden flees Beatrice's home and does the one thing that is sure to calm his nerves and help him think straight! That's right, primping in front of the mirror!
And it doesn't seem to disturb him that vampires cannot actually see themselves in the mirror! hehe, not in this town anyway.

He sees that Nadia is busy cleaning.
"Nadia, have you ever cleaned over at the Crumplebottom estate?"

"Oh yes, on Len's day off I go over to clean, it's a big place!" she says.
"Yes, well I've noticed that she has 2 different jelly bean bushes. Why would a person require 2 of them, I wonder?" asks Aiden.

"Oh the 2nd one was a gift of the Tesla's. Beatrice always kept the first one in a locked room, just for herself, but she either forgot to lock up the gifted one or maybe she left it out for Vance. He does have a sweet tooth, you know." says Nadia.

''Hm." thinks Ayden "I wonder if the detectives know all this information? I should ask Aiden!"

But first he thinks he should warn Vance! Even though he knows that Vance is probably very mad at him, Ayden worries that the poor man's life might be in danger! A quick phone call, and Ayden learns that Vance is now at a new job! He no longer wished to work with Beatrice as a book club moderator. He is mad at her too!
Vance was lucky enough to have been offered a nice job at Jin's Shoppe!

Vance does happen to be very angry at Ayden! He calls him a mean name!
"You! You! You're nothing more than a despicable red eyed iguana!" accuses Vance.
Oh dear! Ayden had wanted to apologize, but now his feathers are ruffled and he feels compelled to slap him with his elegant white glove!
*smack* "Hmph, take that, you ruffian!''

Vance is so shocked and surprised he decides to give Ayden what for! "The nerve and the gall of this pompous rapscallion!" Vance thinks, forgetting that he is just as pompous himself!
A big fight ensues!

Well! Ayden is defeated, and expresses his humiliation, and apologizes. "I'm sorry Vance, it was so wrong to steal your girlfriend, and to then slap you with my glove!

"You know, Vance, I had intended to let you cool off a few days, but then I just felt compelled to warn you about Beatrice! Her faulty spells, and her jelly bean bush left out for you, her having had a human eating cow plant in the attic, and well, I must say, I fear for your safety, my good man!"

"Oh! I never suspected her of trying to do away with me! But I guess it does rather look that way, doesn't it?'' says Vance.

It makes a rather nice pet, if one is kind to it." Vance thinks for a bit,
"I guess I should find a new home, but where?"

Ayden suggests "If you don't mind hippie music, Rainflower rents out some of his rooms. It's been like a rooming house for teens, but my daughter tells me only one rents there now, the little Miss Mara Nix. The house does tend to get in disarray because of the slobbiness of Rainflower, but you enjoy cleaning, don't you?"
"Yes I do! I used to work as a maid!" says Vance happily, and they make an uncharacteristic high five, because they aren't wearing top hats to tip.

Ayden goes off to hold a meeting with Aiden. And Vance heads to Rainflower's to see the place.
He takes a quick slide in the back yard, and then hurries back to work.
Oh, looks like he still has either Bianca's or Musa's police car! :D

Chad and Izzy have a date after school. Izzy wanted to go to the museum to see a certain art piece.

Izzy is disappointed in the museum, it appears to Chad. "What's wrong, Izzy?" he asks softly.
"I was hoping to see the sculpture The Sleeping Hermaphrodite, the one depicting the child of the Gods Hermes and Aphrodite, but I don't see it here." Izzy says, visibly disheartened.

"Well, sweetie, this art gallery is hardly the Louvre. But I'm glad to hear you've read the books I gave you, the stories of mythology, and Ovid's account of Hermaphroditus.'' says Chad.

Izzy turns away, He now bores of this subject, only having wanted to see the marble masterpiece.
Chad catches his hand, "Izzy, can You know the future?"

"Oh Ho! Great seer! And shall we have children too?" Chad asks, caught up in the pretty fantasy Izzy is weaving.
Izzy thinks a minute and becomes serious, "Well, in my werewolf form, I can carry a child.''
He then averts his look, not wanting to meet Chad's eyes. "The child... it won't be... well, this will be different Chad, not what you are expecting, I fear you will be disappointed.''

Chad tries to cajole him "You seem to like talking about love and marriage, can we still talk about that?" He gives his hand a little squeeze, "Or did you wish to marry me right now, here in this museum! We can do that! I just want you to be happy, Izzy!"

"haha Yes of course, we can talk about that! I like the subject of you and me!" Izzy smiles, "But Chadwick, I don't think teenagers should marry! I'm too old fashioned about marriage, like Tristan and Grandpa, are. My parents circumstance was entirely different, having me much too early. I can understand a teen marriage, in that circumstance only."

Izzy asks Chad if he'd like to go play catch outside, he is very athletic, and already mastered the skill. Chad still needs to skill up a bit!
