Laz stares straight ahead, he is still on the sidewalk and doesn't register anything strange or new.
He is glad to be home, and only thinks about his Ethereal being here, with him.

Laz is very happy that Ethereal said she would go steady with him today! He's on cloud 9. He's been so relieved, now that he made up his mind to go with his original first choice <3 , instead of letting his parents force their dreams on him.

Dayvid and Branch get off work. They both get promotions to team captain! How? ?‍♀️ I don't know, Dayvid always works hard and prepares for a game, so he does deserve it. But Branch? No! He has usually missed work and when he does decide to go, he goofs off in the locker room! I guess their Boss didn't notice that! I thought he was going to get demoted or fired!

Once they become tired, they head on home.
Alice is still at work. Branch doesn't know where she is, if she will come back, and if so where will she sleep?
He dreads any confrontation from Dayvid. Dayvid is pretty scary when he's mad!

Alice gets off work. The job was exciting and everyone there spoke in gruff gangster voices, but they seemed nice enough. Her workplace is in a secret location in the theater, good camouflage! They probably launder money there!

Alice wakes with sharp hunger pangs! 'Oh no! I forgot my spear and sharp rock, how will I find food?' she thinks.
She heads downstairs and discovers some salad in a large rectangular box that is cold inside!
"Yummy! Looks good!" she says to herself.

Alice heads out to take a class in Athletics, Branch had anticipated that Alice would soon want the 'car' he had told her about, and bought her a Twizzy, to be able to learn to drive more easily. He had had it painted with Gingko leaves, as a reminder of her cave home.
