315 The Watcher Watches: Laz's House ~~ Engagement ~~





"Ethereal, sorry I behaved badly, scratching up the furniture at the Salon. I was just kind of beside myself with the job unfairness for you and me, and that Watcher allowed it. It just really got to me is all." says Laz, using the option 'apologize for becoming a werewolf'.
"That's ok Laz, it's understandable. Besides I don't mind you in wolf form at all, I think you look so handsome all hairy and formidable like that!"

"aw Thank you!" says Laz, all bashful.
Then he sees Alice and adds "Get a load of this one, walking right by her dirty dishes! hmph, Maybe we should get one of those live in maids to clean up after her and filthy ol Branch!"
''Haha That's not a bad idea. Chad told me he is trying to make a robotic maid! He is doing all that tinkering on his workbench making all kinds of mechanical things! He is good at making toy puppies, whales and cows, things like that. He says next on the list is a mechanical man!'' says Ethereal.

Laz thinks this is wonderful! He had no idea that this was even possible!
"Hahaha Maybe we should get a workbench, and make stuff too!" he says.

Outside in the back yard, Alice has discovered the old bathtub that Branch found in the dumpster, and thinks it's a great idea to take a bath outside in the fresh air, especially since someone put a bottle of old half empty bubble bath, here on the edge of the tub!
"Hi Alice! You like the tub! That looks fun with all the bubbles!" says Branch, hoping she will invite him in with her. She doesn't.
"Can I get in with you? We're married so it's ok!" he adds "Besides that is my rubber ducky!"

"No Branch, there is no room for 2 people in here. You can have your bath, after me." says Alice.
"Aw! But that isn't what I had in mind, exactly.'' says Branch, sulking.

"This is no fun! I thought being married had some sort of advantages." he thinks, forlornly, and leaves to roam around the neighborhood.
''Hm Danny and Belinda have some nice cars." he notices. He is very curious and nosey.
He keeps on walking and travels by Izzy and Chad's house.

"Hey! They have a trampoline! Cool!" thinks Branch, walking towards it, to see if it is brand new or a slightly used one from the consignment shop.

Branch hears some kind of sound coming from the trash can
"How curious! It sounds like a whirring and a kind of ummm what?'' *whirrr* *kerchunk* *woof woof* *moooo*
''A mechanical Dog-Cow?! Wow! I wonder what it looks like?" says Branch and takes a look.
But he doesn't want to get caught going through his neighbors trash! He looks around, furtively. Then continues his nosey searching.

Waylon arrives home, he glances over quickly and sees that it is just the neighborhood weirdo, Branch, going through their trash. He shrugs, and heads inside his house.

''What was That?'' thinks Branch. He takes a closer look "It's a Metal Monster!''

"OMG It Talks! hahaha" thinks Branch, now bemused, and fishes out the monster, and brings it home in his backpack.
He hides in his bedroom and takes a closer look! "WOW!"

Branch moves closer, he wants to see if he can get it to talk more, but pushing the button on it made it break! Aww too bad. What a shame! ''This must have been a reject that Chad had thrown out. I wonder if I can fix it?"

He puts the monster into the shed, and starts tinkering. Then notices how stinky he is from all the garbage rummaging, so takes his bath outside,
"I Hope I look soo alluring that Alice will regret not having a bath time with me! Hmph!"

No such thing happens though, Alice doesn't even notice him, chatting to Laz about dirty dishes, and trying to get him to understand her way of thinking about cleanliness.

Laz remembers that this morning he had referred to Ethereal as his Wife. That had sounded so nice! *Wife* <3
He wants to ask Ethereal a question! What follows would have been even more perfectly romantic if a big naked Branch hadn't been bathing in the background! :D
