BadRobot has chosen a cake of his liking. He orders Alice "Light. Candl3s. 4. M3. N0W!"
He anticipates feeling wicked delight, when the others are forced to Cheer for him!
*Whirr* *Ker-Klunk* "What. R. Sparkles?" is his last thought.

Most of the household hasn't noticed yet. Alice wonders if she should light the candles on the cake or wait? Why would a machine do the sparkle? Maybe it is a magic trick that Robots can do?
"This doesn't seem like a very fun honeymoon, so far." She thinks.

Alice cries, understanding now. Curiosity and shock sets in to the rest of the household. They haven't ever seen this before. This will be the first death in the town.
BadRobot looks to Branch for an explanation, but Branch has no clue.

The hood of his shroud moves from BadRobot to each of the onlookers.
"Ohhh! Hellooo Branch!" Grimmy says with an amused laugh, he continues in his deep deep voice, ''I am here for your invention, BadRobot."
Grimmy and Branch are old friends. Branch is exceedingly friendly. Over the top you might say.

Alice is crying, she is the only one who liked BadRobot, even though he was scaring her with his mean, hot temper.
"There is your grave, BadRobot." says Grim, and points.
"Over here, Treasure.'' grimaces the horrid gnome.

"Hm. Yes I understand you wanted laudations...I can offer you a handshake." says Grim. He's not that bad of a guy.

And with that, BadRobot turns and jumps in his grave! Everyone is stunned! Alice gets her LTW fulfilled. And Grimmy turns to smoke and sinks into the earth!

Only then does the 'mourning feeling' commence. No one cries except Klaatu and Alice, who is broken hearted.
The others hated the mean robot, but death makes them feel a new kind of sadness. The loss of life is terrible.
Branch is very uncomfortable with this new feeling, and tries to get some joy back with the sprinklers.
Klaatu kicks the horrible grinning gnome. Then takes her maker's grave stone. How can a maker not Be?

Klaatu is experiencing her first feelings of loss, shock and grief. This is her first day Alive, and it is filled with such overwhelming raw emotions.
Klaatu acts out, and smashes the table to tiny bits! She pockets the scrap.

Later in the afternoon, Branch approaches his CaveGirl, Alice, she seems to have a lot on her mind.

I usually feel happy, but today I feel relief that I didn't have to Die, and that your LTW was finally fulfilled, and I'm still feeling shocked about inventing a deranged robot, and curiosity of Klaatu, who He invented! And the loss of something I created and hated! That's far too many mixed feelings all at once! I don't like it!'' says Branch...
