326 The Watcher Watches: Rainflower's House ~~ Science Center ~~




Vance and Klaatu get ready to enter their tour of the Science Center. They are very much looking forward to this, in fact, Vance has a locked wish to join the science career! I was wondering if he would wish for a new job, once he retired himself from the cash register at the swap shop.

Jed and his twin Fabian, have arrived, brought by their Dad, Rocky. The boys are in trouble for accidentally leaving their creation still attached to the test chamber! They had left yesterday, forgetting to detach their 'Pro Romance Activation Module!' :o
Max got so many complaints (and accolades) from the workers who took their breaks in that particular test chamber! Max had to call Rocky to send the boys here today, instead of attending school, so they could take their module off, for compliance with ''Safety In The Workplace!''

Jed thinks that Dad should let them get a test chamber at home for them to test their various experiments! It would save so much time instead of having to come all the way here, and then invariably get in trouble for forgetting things like deactivating their experiments before they leave!

"Jed! Come along, son! There are probably innocent people in that test chamber as we speak! No time to lose!" says Rocky.
"Yes, Dad! Be right with you!" says Jed.

10 minutes pass. Jed still hasn't gone in to help Fabian, having been side tracked by Faelie wanting a word with him.
Well he can't be Rude to Max's Wife! He is a very polite teen.
Besides, Rocky will understand as he has always stressed to his sons "Politeness Above All Else!"

Klaatu emerges from the tour. She is unsure what exactly happened, but it looks like Vance probably knows.

"Vance. What was that 'Enhanced Emotion' in the experimental test chamber?"
"I don't know, possibly 'Romantic Interest?' says Vance, feeling hopeful. ''It was so tempting to push the button that said 'Pro-Makeout Session'. I didn't realize it would effect the both of us! But I thought it was a Great Invention!"
"Yes. A Fascinating invention." says Klaatu. "Analysis. To promote more advanced kisses than the kissing booth."

Dayvid walks by, overhears, and can't wait to tell Branch of their Robot's new experience! Branch's 'upgrade' obviously is working without apparent ERROR malfunction, it sounds like!
What if Klaatu's improved AI can have her learn eventually to Love? Branch might win a Nobel Prize!
(Although Watcher has doubts that's what Branch was aiming for...)

Having visited the other rooms on the tour, Gardening Room and Fishing Room, they both now have a wish to learn fishing! They head off to the pond. Klaatu has no trouble moving about on her jet feet, or casting her fishing line to try to catch her first fish!

They fish for awhile and Klaatu mentions she would also like to know about gardening! Vance already knows all about gardening and tells her his great idea, ''Lets go plant a garden together!''
