332 The Watcher Watches: Rainflower's House ~~ Home Again ~~



Annalove can't seem to shake her anger issues. Rainflower has been too busy with the others, and seems to have no time for Her!
She doesn't like being in a fight with Rainflower OR having her daughter, Daydream think she's a neurotic conspiracy monger!
She heads to make herself feel happy again, by experimenting again with the philosophers stone. Making gold does make her happy.
She tries an apple.
"Hey! is this thing tilting at a weird angle?" is her last thought.

"Oh my poor wife! This must be because she didn't truly feel the Love! Otherwise this would never have happened!" weeps Rainflower,
"Why wouldn't she practice what I preach? How can I feel the Love without my darling Annalove?!''

''It will be ok, Dad, I saw Klaatu give Mom a death flower!" Peanut tries to reassure his good ol Dad.

''ANNALOVE! I have come for you!" says Grimmy, and he compels her soul out of the statue to come lay near his feet.

"I have seen your lovely garden, have You a wonderous flower for me, too?" Grimmy says coquettishly, in his deep deep scary voice.
Annalove falls to her knees. "No Grimmy, I turned your flower into gold!" she laments. "But I was really mad at the time! Do you want the gold bar?" she offers.

"Well! What the ever loving heck!?" thinks Grimmy, so very annoyed, with his hand on his hip.
"You know I love those sweet little dainty flowers!" he booms. "It's not nice to fool Grimmy!"

"I'm sorry." says Annalove.
"tsk tsk. I am even more sorry! I wanted that precious sweet Flower! Now be off with you! Go climb into this cheap tin waste bin.'' says Grimmy, prissily.
"No life for you!" he declares his punishment!

And with Grimmy's grim verdict, Annalove tries to make a graceful exit, a swan dive into her ugly urn. And It wasn't even that graceful, poor thing!

Vance, with his quick thinking, rushes over to Grimmy. "Please Grimmy! We can give you so so many flowers, and even plant a whole garden of the flowers at your place! Please! We must have her back!" he begs.
But Grimmy will hear no more! Insulted at not being given a flower, he disappears in a puff of smoke, thinking "Hmpf! The nerve to deny me my flower!"

Klaatu is trying to understand. "Rainflower. I gave Flower 4 Grim to Annalove. Her death does not compute!" she says.

At the mention of Annalove's name, Rainflower falls apart again.

Eddy sees sad sad Mara, and murmurs gentle words to her, letting her cry on his shoulder. Eddy is very comforting and kind, patting her back.

Mara sniffs back her tears, "Eddy can you and Daydream stay here for awhile, to help us all heal and cope?" she asks him. ''I worry about Rainflower and Peanut."
"Of course we will, Mara." Eddy says. He is so nice to sacrifice his acute aversion to lots of people, for Daydreams family.

Peanut and Mara complete their LTW with the addition of Eddy & Daydream's family funds to the household!
And we still have the Golden Statues to sell. ?
Annalove's golden statue is placed with the others, on the front lawn.
Not a very posh thing to do, but a normal placement, for a hippie family, I suppose...
