Haha, the midlife crisis thing is said a little bit in jest, but a new path to pursue in life wouldn't hurt. ;) I have this romantic picture in my head of living in a beach house on a tropical island and being a full time writer... :P
Hehe, I find it funny that you call me young man. Somehow I think I might not be as young as you think I am (maybe), though I am most definately sure that I am younger than you. :P
Hehe, I don't directly use the laser, it just stands still in one location and continuously reports to me. ;) It measures clouds to figure out cloud base as an aid to manual cloud observations (important for airport traffic - I work at an airport...)

Oh, poor Jason being nervous at Bébé just because she aged up. Ah, but aging up in the sim world must be scary, because one moment you're a kid that could be 8-10 years old, and boom! Suddenly you're 16! I would be a little nervous, too. ;)
Bébé must be good friends with Jason as she thinks about him and waves at him. Oh, how brave of Jason to ask her for a game of tag. ;)
Haha, I see someone having fun on the bed in the background when Ashley is making food! ;)
Oh, I like those scenes where everybody eats together, that is so nice. Thanks to mods we can have that! But that is a thing that should have been in the original game.. or maybe game developers prefer to eat alone! :P
Hehe, is there something Italian in Violet? Ciao, bella! :P Usually it is rude to leave before everyone has finished eating.. unless of course, you have to get to work! :P

You're not the only one being poor with adding details to lots, especially home lots, it can be a tedious exercize and I usually skip it! :P Never been big on home decor...
Thors laugh sounds like tiny silver bells! That's interesting, but nice description! He must have a pretty laugh, then! Tiny silver bells, what a unique way to describe a laughter!
Oh, there is an ancient fairy language, now I'm curious! Is it going to be anything like the Dothraki language from Game of Thrones? ;) Because that is what I am suddenly hearing in my head.. :P

I don't know if you are familiar with Game of Thrones, but on that note, the sims actually sometimes says something that sounds like "Bin plats too Khaleesi" and Khaleesi is an important word in the Dothraki language meaning "the Dothraki term for the wife of a khal or ruler".

It's only when they grow up and have seen more and experienced more of the world, that they can become slightly jaded, prejudiced, and perhaps sarcastic, or mean, that's when they can lose the special magic, and become a lower vibrating being. Very sad. Hardly anyone chooses to grow up to become an evil grumpy Vinegar Man!
