54 The Watcher Watches: The Families The title always makes me laugh, remembering Peter Sellers, in the movie 'Being There', say to Shirley MacLaine "I like to watch" ! :D Well I must admit I Do like watching my sims, just to see what they do! I usually only direct them to help fulfill wishes, although sometimes I admit to doing this creatively! hahaSo my family, how did it begin? Starting in Moonlight Falls with Dante, Violet, and Argus, it was plain so see that Violet and Argus were getting to be an item. Dante was best friends with Belinda Crumplebottom, and they decided to move in together to my favorite house. (actually, the only house I like here!)Belinda wanted a child with Dante, and it pained him to let her down as he felt he was too young, and he wanted a more traditional family when he matured. He loved Belinda as friend, and even though she was so kind and lovely personality, she was not 'the One' for him.Belinda was swept off her feet by Don Lothario, they fell in love and married. When ever he would scare her she would retaliate by casting a spell on him! :D They enjoyed each other immensely! Their marriage was loving and solid, and then Dante wanted a child.Tulip always dreamed of babies, but would never get the wish for it. The Watcher (me) became convinced she was worried that Dante might bite the baby! :o One day as they were on a date, Dante started spamming me with wishes to turn Tulip! Even though I usually fulfill wishes, I kept clicking his wishes off. He Spammed me 7 times in half an hour! He wanted desperately to turn her! mmm maybe Dante knows something the Watcher does not! I decided to let him fulfill this wish! I wanted to know! For Science! "Are you sure, my love?" He has always been too busy working, studying or catching the waves, so he's never actually dated or had a girlfriend before. Oh, I don't blame you one bit, I don't really like the Heartbreaker LTW either, but with Ayden, I find it hard to believe any of his ladies suffer for long upon being dumped: they're all either way too good for him and sure to find love with worthier guys soon or are just like him and probably about to fire him as Boyfriend soon enough anyway! :)

I'm secretly hoping Ayden settles down with a werewolf lady, though, and has more hybrid cutie nooboos for Izzy to hang out with. And sweet Izzy needs to age up stat and give poor Chad some relief!

PS, as always, it was so lovely to see YAY! Victor again, saving the day as always. :)

No teens woo'd because the bedroom doors were locked! The teens must have been too lazy to use the hot tube or tree house or wardrobe for that.

@ergp_slum Oh I'm so glad you like the weirdo VanGould family! They are fun to play! This is my first time ever playing them! I've had Emelie and Waylan age up and have kids before, but never played them, I just wanted them in the community and their kids for partners.

omg it is a bit hard for me to play Ayden's LTW of Heartbreaker! I don't like it! LOL But I think I should play it at least once! I think it would be easier if he had commitment issues! Also Now I have to find some more single girls since Dallas thinks those 3 are His, and Sebastian loves Lana! Those 2 men are wrecking my fire station! LOL

I hope work lets up on you and that you are able to play! Thanks for coming over I always love to see you! :)

Yes it does seem in your case it could have been that it was just Joika-Kari Bastiansen/Jocasta Bachelor! Oh well at least the forum doesn't censor your sims names! Sometimes there will be an EA sim and we cant even write the name here without it being censored! :o

I agree with you, this is the nuttiest fire station I have ever had. I had one one where these 2 cousins in town had NPC fireman boyfriends, but it was Nothing like this crazy place!

Chad does still have the chance and choice to go against his destiny. In fact I'm just waiting with worry for the mean game to try to throw a wrench in my story by having some cute single teen come home with one of the 3 teens, or on a community lot, or party, and make a play for Chad! :# :D That happens fairly often! :D

I don't know? I think most people Like Ayden, even though he will bite them or bore them to sleep! :D

Thank you for your comments and telling me about the death by woo! LOL My mind is thinking of any way that would work, like if they were starving or something, You know how the sims seem to think woo is more important that starving to death?!

Once again, life and work are making my free time very limited, but I just wanted to drop in to say I adore the Van Gould household! Little Izzy is so sweet and special and it's so fun watching Ayden be Ayden! Can't wait to see what happens next!

This (death by woohoo) happened before I had installed any mod, and only had the University Life expansion pack, or maybe no expansion pack at all, I'm not sure. I referenced it already in the beginning of my "People of Simbria" thread as being only a rumour that circulated around town.

But the one to die of woohoo was Joika-Kari Bastiansen, the wife of famous chess champion H.K.H. Høigaffel. They were both elders, and went to woohoo, and after they had finished.. he rested on the bed, she got out of bed, and the reaper came... So maybe it wasn't the woohoo that caused it, maybe her time was simply up. She was at the end of her life span anyway.
I later learned that Joika-Kari Bastiansen is Jocasta Bachelor in the english language version. I would never name a sim something as ridiculous as Joika-Kari, and nowadays that wouldn't even be politically correct... (A joik is a traditional way of singing for the Sapmi native population).

I think you story about this person and her changing costumes, I thought she was crazy, but I never thought she was insane. ;)

Hehe, your fire station is all fine and dandy if I think of it as existing in an imaginary world, but if I try to think of it as being a more realistic world, it becomes rather special. :P

The boss is standing there in his underwear, and well, the firefighters are also in their underwear and flirting with each other... Haha. :P

I'm not even going to mention what they do in bed..

I wouldn't want to show up at work and see my boss walking around in his underwear....

Of course, Chad has no choice, it seems. He has to marry Izzy either way. ;)

Oh Ayden that vampire playboy, why aren't more people around town hating him? :P

Izzy woke up a bit unnerved that it was necessary to go to school, "I don't want to see that meteor!"
Chad gives a comforting hug.
"Come on Izzy, lets go play tag!" he suggests.

Chad makes everyone some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, while Grandfather chats and hugs his grandchild, giving words of encouragement "Remember you beat the expiration date! You are quite strong Izzy!" Ayden says

The kids head to school. Izzy still worries about the meteor, so Chad says they can recess in the school library together.

Satisfied that the playground will no longer remind the kids of any near miss expired classmates or ghosts, he changes into his proper attire.

Yes it happens so rarely I forget that it Can happen! :o It's scary because the sound is loud and the screen shakes and some sims can really die!!! Even little kids! :o :3
In Riverview one landed on the diner and killed Mrs. Newbie, but the husband was so sad I brought her back. It's a lot easier to just prevent it if I can! :)
