TS3 Custom Content.

CC is hard to find for me, but on the sims 3 store there's a decent amount of hairstyles. I'm thinking you may be a bit new to sims 3 cause you haven't gotten the expansion packs yet, but if your'e not, maybe try the simsresource or tumblr. I will say the former has many adds and you've got to be careful on there a bit. Also sims 3 stuff packs will add somethings.

If you need more teen and elder clothing choices this is a good place to get age converted EA clothing.

Well I am kind of new. I've owned the game since it released but only now I've really started playing. My computer back when TS3 was current didn't like the game. :D

Hi, i downloaded mods and cc today and when i played my game i realised that the icons on the bottom left of the screen seem to be hiding behind each other. example if i press my calendar my is phone comes up i would like to know if they are any answers

I've tried a lot of clothing including conversions from 4 and most is kind of not good. Glitchy and not made well. I still find the Sims Resource one of the better places to get clothing that is actually made well. https://www.thesimsresource.com/downloads/browse/category/sims3-clothing/

I don't like downloading from TSR because of the ads and I'm not willing to pay real money for CC just to disable ads and if you use adblockers it makes you wait forever to download.
Some of the ads can be a little risky if you click on them.I avoid downloading from them as much as possible.

Rounding out the age conversion trio is Sweetdevil and Kent Converts; they also do conversions for ages beyond teen and elder and have been active more recently than Simplex Sims (that still hurts I gotta admit)

Clothes: Shokoninio and Peacemaker for the boys, Anubis and fallen hero Juliana Sims (blog with dead links here, recovered stuff here) for the girls. Speaking of dead blogs and reuploads, there was also Modish Kitten and the actual longtime champ of custom content, All About Style. The problem with the existing AAS reupload is no preview images, I can only recommend searching on My Sims 3 Blog and matching up names. It's a large project to deal with, it was an incredibly prolific site for TS2, 3, and 4.

Shoes: no one but Pixicat. The top post on her blog has everything in zip folders with previews, it's a really nice sendoff on her part. Supposedly she's creating for Second Life now.

Hairs: I mean this does depend on your taste in hair textures. I don't like the textures that most custom hairs come with (and by that I mean "visceral hatred" but the meshes are great) and I can tell the difference even if some people cannot. Pixel Swirl and Beaverhausen are forever my unproblematic faves for hair textures that don't clash with EA's, though both of them moved over to TS4 a long time ago. No one's quite filled that void and new hairs/conversions from TS4 creators aren't stopping any time soon. ChazyBazzy does a lot of TS4 -> 3 hair conversions now, with varying results (as she would admit) and retextures that fit someone's tastes. Pandelabs does some converting and retexturing too, and poisonfireleafs and IfcaSims cover the rest for me. Completely unrelated, I use BuckleySims' "Disentangled" hairs all the time. Part two here, I love Buckley but her CC didn't quite fit into a tidy category.

This retexture catalog is the main thing I use for Sims hairs. It has tons of them, and lots that have been converted from Sims 4.

Another vote for Buckley. It seems she has a fix for just about anything I'm looking for. One of her best fixes is those S-club eyelashes that show through hair. She made them stay behind the hair.

I use an adblocker and it takes 10 seconds to get the download. I see no ads at all.
