Was this a thing or did I imagine it? (ITF related)

So, I had babies both ways in the future world (the regular way and engineered) and what I was thinking was that being born in the future would automatically give them a maxed out Advanced Technology ...

It's inconsistent. Imaginary friends that your babies from Oasis Landing got there always get the "future sim" trait if you make them real. Most of the kids themselves don't.

The trait itself causes errors in the game if your sims have it in the present (nothing serious, just a bit annoying). I usually remove it via Master Controller. Good thing though: those sims keep their level 10 Advanced Technology skill even after you take away the trait.
