Regardless of the subforum where you're posting, please consider using a spoiler tag if your post is somewhat long. It improves the thread's readability while preserving the content for those interested. To create a spoiler tag, highlight the relevant text and then click the yellow Spoiler format button, between Strikethrough and Insert Code above the text field.
Where to post: Sims 3 edition
Please post here for any problem with the Sims 3 Store: buying SimPoints or content, downloading or installing already-owned content, disappearing content, etc.
This is for all technical issues: lag, crashes, failure to load, download errors, really anything that makes your game not run as it should. Please also use this forum for questions about in-game bugs and glitches. Choose the forum that reflects the platform you play on, i.e. PC or Mac.
For best help, please list the expansion and stuff packs you have installed, the world(s) you're playing in, and whether you use mods or custom content. It's fine if you do; the people trying to help you just need to know either way. If your question concerns crashing, lag, or other performance issues, please also provide some technical information. For Windows, that means providing a dxdiag (how to run one); for Mac, that means listing the full specs of your Mac (everything covered here).
Any discussion or showcase for what you've created—sims, builds, worlds—goes here, as does any story/legacy thread. Please also use this forum for questions about creation.
Everything else goes here. That includes questions about how the game works or how to achieve a particular outcome in your save.

Rather than various other kinds of reactions, this forum only offers XP. Feel free to give some if you like a post. XP helps other users rank up and is a nice way to say thanks but is never required.
