@birdman11grand - If a speed of 19 turns out to make things happen too slowly in real time for you, try something more like 23 or 26. The differences will be subtle, but noticeable for many of us.
Motive Decay adjusts how quickly sims' motives deplete during the day and when they engage in activities that deplete these motives faster (like jogging or exercise when it comes to energy). Values higher than 1 will cause motives to deplete faster. Values under 1, slower. So if your sims are losing energy too quickly, try a Decay factor less than 1 like 0.75. Or maybe 0.60. If you take this too far, you will know because sims won't be tired yet when it's time to go to bed even if they got up early in the morning.
Motive Delta adjusts how quickly sims' motives replenish. Values higher than 1 will make them replenish faster. Values under 1, slower. If your sims are sleeping an entire night and not getting their energy replenished whereas they were before (so it's not poor quality beds or something else like being totally in the red and buzz crashed at bedtime doing this), try a Delta factor higher than 1 like 1.25 or maybe 1.40.
These factors will often take some trial and error before we get them exactly the way we want and different players' needs will vary -- for example on hunger, do we want to feed our sims full meals 1, 2, or 3x per day? But it's best to get the overall speed of Relativity adjusted so that it "feels right" first or else the Decays and Deltas will have to also keep being readjusted along the way.
