What does "add the ability to add triggers and activated behaviours" mean and do!?

HIHI! So my game is currently frozen (lol) and I got bored watching the load button load forever so I started aimlessly clicking around and some options popped up! First I just had it say something...

It would be best to ask your queries on a thread in the Sims 3 Discussions section of the forums. Simmers there who use those triggers when building will be able to answer questions that you have.
