Hey everyone. :) I've been playing Sunset Valley (along with the W mod) and I just made some CRAZY things happen yesterday and today with the Langerak Family. Hee hee ;) Well, I thought I would pick on this family for the fun of it. They seemed to have some dysfunction going on. Iliana (the mom) is a workaholic, Dustin (the dad) is lazy but loves family (he was in the criminal career when I started playing them. Not a good suit for his personality so I made him quit. He now has a part-time job at the bookstore). Their daughter Kaylynn seems to take care of everything while her older brother Parker, rebels and pays more attention to wooing girls than anything else. And to add craziness to the family, Iliana's sister Zelda Mae needed a place to live so, in she went. That is the original story of this family. Now for what I did to them. Lol! ;) Iliana didn't like how much of a slob Dustin is and he in turn didn't like how much of a workaholic she is. And little did Iliana know that her husband and sister were...doing a lot of romantic things in secret while she was at work. ;) Well, for a while she didn't know but then she was able to catch on. In anger she turned to her secret crush from work (Thornton Wolff) and begin having romantic relations with him. Meanwhile the kids are not exactly sure what has been going on...and Dustin and Zelda Mae had a risky woo hoo one night. Zelda got pregnant days later. At this time Dustin decided he had enough with Iliana and divorced her. Iliana then moved in with Thornton. Later, minutes before Zelda went into labor, Dustin proposed to her. The kids were pretty happy about it, they never saw much of their mother anyway. (Funny, this new baby would be their half-brother AND cousin...weird. ;) ) A baby boy was born and they named him Link (sorry, I couldn't help myself ;) ). Dustin and Zelda go off on a honeymoon and leave Parker and Kaylynn to care for the baby and the home while they are gone. (Seriously?) Well, Dustin asks the girl he's had a crush on for a while to Prom (River McIrish) and they go together and end up falling so hard for each other they become boyfriend and girlfriend. The next day, with the parents still gone, Parker is DYING to see River again and goes over to her house. They get frisky and...I'm pretty sure River is pregnant. Lol! And that's where I left my game for today. Had to get back to reality. :) I love how I can screw up sims lives or make them do things I would NEVER DO!!! It's so much fun! ;)
So what happened in your game today? Can we keep this thread going for a while? :)
MAJOR UPDATE (July 23rd, 2024): ^I can't believe I asked that and then 10 years later here we are. 😊 Oh what a beautiful ride it has been. 💗
Anyway, due to the fact that this thread is thousands of pages long with hundreds of thousands of comments, you will for sure want to click on the drop down box below, off to the right a little, and choose "Newest" to see the newest posts on this amazing thread or you will be clicking the "More" button for all of eternity! 🤣 And yeeeeah you don't want to be doing that. 😬
Also, due to the migration to the new EA forum here, 95% of the pictures shared throughout the years in each post will not show up...so if you're wondering where all the images went, they unfortunately disappeared into the internet void. (Also those who posted via Photobucket before big changes were made on that site, lost photos years ago). Anyway, just a friendly FYI. 😊
But yeah, let's see how much longer we can keep this thread going y'all! 😏 And please - cause I am still here and plan to stay here for as long as I can - do share with me...What happened in your Sims 3 game today? 😁
Hope that you're all having a Marvelous Monday and continued happiness this holiday season!
HotBlackSand Enjoyed the recent pictures of your sims. Hope that Rebecca & her family also had a great winter season in your game and a fun 'Gift-giving' party if they had one. My Sims did those many sim moons ago when playing all of the packs together. Since I prefer World Adventures to Seasons and found that things didn't go so well with all of the packs working together back then, I've been reluctant to activate them all at once since the game is working quite well at the moment. Congrats on young Hanna's recent birthday and my Munson & Crockett families wish her all the best in school.
If I end up moving Jarvis & Bella into their own save, I may try activating all of the packs for them to see how things go with it. Will probably put them in a world that makes sense to have winter in like Starlight Shores or Hidden Springs (then we could pretend that they would be neighbors of Rebecca). Now that I'm back to playing Sims 4, I'm just playing Sims 3 on weekends at the moment so it will be awhile before deciding on that. Next weekend, I'll be visiting the Munson household, so will see how things go in protecting the Eternally Faithful relationships of Jarvis & Bella and Jarrod & Holly to see if separating the two families would be better.
ck213 Nice to meet you and welcome back to playing Sims 3. I play both Sims 3 & 4 but tend to focus on the one that gives me the most inspiration which is Sims 4 at the moment since treating myself to another expansion pack and a few kits but still enjoy Sims 3. Right now, I'm playing Sims 4 during the week and then Sims 3 on the weekend to continue with my visits (aka: game play) with my households there. Am thinking about changing that to a three month rotation with the two Sims games but that's just me brainstorming. Since I like playing both Sims 3 & 4 for their own reasons, you should be able to play both although sometimes it takes a bit to get used to each different style with the open/closed worlds, camera modes, color wheel, etc. Each of the sims versions have their own pros & cons but then again all games have that.
LonaBoom Nice to meet you and it looks like you have a couple of really nice sims in your two saves. Hopefully the first one will be able find time for a relaxing vacation or unwind at a party or two from her busy schedule. Hope your other sim has lots of fun in his adventures and stays safe.
Now for an update from Chang & Honey (Darnell) where he returned to Egypt to complete a fitness challenge to run for four hours in the desert. While he was their this time (Egypt seems to be the only country this family travels to so far since getting my new laptop), Chang began the 'Searching for Love' adventure series with Layla Lufti & Samir Amin which was unexpected for me since I thought he'd get the Black Bag jobs after completing the MorcuCorp series on his last visit. Since this adventure came up earlier than expected, Chang didn't have to break into the Ameen house to search their basement since Fikry's wife is still alive in the game as are most of the senior Egyptian sims there.
Chang's game save is into it's 7th Sim week so the initial seniors in Egypt seem to be living longer than usual this time even with the long life span that I normally use. Since I opted to send Chang for five days instead of the eight, he'll be doing the last part of the Finding Love series in his next trip there after Honey returns to the country to earn some tips in guitar playing for her boss and finish disarming the traps in the Rashid household's basement. Now that young Holly is in high school, she may get the oppoturnity to interview a local in France to begin the French adventures. Before getting my new laptop, Chang had traveled to the country a far amount in his first game save while living in Appaloosa Plains and had completed many adventures there. Not sure if the game will remember that he's been there before if he gets a chance to go but his daughter, Holly should be able to begin with the Lost baseball job.
Now that Chang & Honey's daughter, Holly is a teenager she's already had her first prom where her friend from grade school, Callie Moyer, invited her to attend with her and during their evening together Callie asked Holly to 'go-steady' with her so now they are a high school couple'. Holly was also voted by her peers to be the Prom Queen.
Now for the pictures of my visit where I decorated little Chauncey's bedroom as he will soon be starting school. He is Callie's little brother and since Chang & Honey want another girl, they will probably soon try for their third child. I also had to change the staircase to the downstairs hobby room since the original one didn't work very well directly beneath the stairs to the second floor. While Chang & Holly were able to go down them to take pictures of their completed Egyptian Statue and Canopic Jar sets, they had problems coming up the stairs so I had to move the staircase and change it to a circular one in the corner by the garage door and switch the nectar making corner and future downstairs spa locations to make things work. Not sure exactly what all will be down there but am thinking of making the downstairs main area a games room of sorts with a pool table as well as a ping pong table and shuffleboard since the workout and musical instruments are part of the upstairs landing area.
This is Chauncey's future bedroom which is decorated using shades of his favorite color 'sea foam' including the lighter shade of 'tea green' (D0EDC2) and a dark 'sea green' (2E8B57).
Might as well share pictures of the changes to the downstairs nectar/future game room and then the inside of the garage. This room also uses a light shade of seafoam called 'White Smoke' (F5F9F3) and Myrtle Green (21421E). It's amazing what comes up when googling hex codes and shades of sea foam.
After putting in the circular staircase to the downstairs, I moved the washer & dryer back against the wall under the staircase. Had to remove the plant to the left of the archway and move the machines up one space since it turned out that the stairway to the upstairs was in the way of accessing the dryer.
Since Chang has completed his 'zoologist' LTW, I cut the critter 'homes' down to one for each type except for the snake one for now. He'll now just keep one of each critter for now in the garage except for the two big bird trees upstairs. This leaves more space for other things in the garage like Holly's future rescued pets and/or a second vehicle.
Now for pictures of Chang's trip to Egypt where he jogged for 4 hours in the desert and helped Layla Lufti in her 'Searching for Love' series' . Here, Chang decided to read a book in the early morning hours at base camp instead of disturbing his fellow traveler's sleep.
Later Chang tried charming his snake before continuing with the new missions.
After meeting and chatting with Inji Ameen, Chang found a switch hidden inside the hole that opened a secret staircase to the basement.
Chang finishing up this part of the mission before reporting back to Samir Amin who is the other contact in this series. Haven't been able to figure out if the movable statues in the living area of this part of the downstairs under the Ameen house open anything but my Sims haven't been able to find anything by moving them.
Before entering the Servants' Quarters at the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Chang saw this wannabe acrobat practicing outside. He later took a break by sitting on the couch in the entrance part of the Queen's side of the tomb.
Beginning his search of clues the Servant's quarter's for this part of the 'In Search of Love' missions.
After reporting back to Samir about his findings in the Servant's quarters, he played his guitar for tips while Samir & Fatima danced together under the stars at the fishing pond behind the Pyramids.
The next morning, Chang's basket snake seemed to really enjoy his charms. Either that or is laughing at them.
Later Chang was able to find the special relic that Layla needed from the Queen's secret hideout under the markets before his trip ended but he'll be back at some point to finish his missions.
Will leave you with Chang training his daughter on the weight machine before she heads to school for the day. Until next time, Chang says to 'Keep fit and have fun' as one of the local TV commercials where I live used to say.
There is a young lady at the Sims 3 Exchange Site, that specializes in Patterns, as well as a few of her friends. You would not believe the plethora of patterns available. I do my best to limit what I download even in patterns, because you could find a pattern for anything you may desire.
Anyway ... skyeseeker is the player there where I start looking at patterns, and you can find other players that do the same on her wall. Be careful at that site regarding some of the minutia between players, because they can get touchy, but it is an excellent resource if you just want to add a little 'pop' to your game.
You know, I do stories with Sims too but can hit that dry spell you can in the story. It was frustrating, I know you plan your stories out, and set the Sims to work for the visuals. However, I hit a dry spell, and instead of giving up on the game or the story, I just started playing the game and letting the story tell itself. I don't let the game control all of the story, I just stopped forcing the story into the game (setting deadlines or expectations on the timing of your story can do that).
Basically, it is keeping the story in mind, providing excellent "sets" for background wherever your Sims may go, and then playing the game while interjecting the story into the game when opportunities show up. There are times when my story Sims simply have a regular day, and there is not much story involved, and that's just not part of the story. It keeps me from getting burnt out on the game trying to make a story happen, and I will still tell the same story (it's not random), but it will just happen when it happens. I get to have fun playing the game in between the times the story jumps up and takes over.
Maybe that makes sense and maybe it doesn't, but it works for me, and I really like the game, as well as writing the stories, but I am just not going to let one ruin the other for me. We also kind of miss you around here, as well as some other folks, and it would nice if you could enjoy Sims 3 the way you know you can. 😁
Have A Lovely Day, A Blessed New Year ... And Happy Simming ... 💖
Hey everyone. 💜 Long time no see... Is just been a crazy, crazy year. 😞 I'm happy to say goodbye to it honestly...
I hope all of you had a lovely Christmas. 🎄 We sure did here, except for the fact that it was unseasonably warm at 72 degrees! 😬 If I wanted those kinds of temps in Winter I would live in FL or southern AZ! No thank you! I'm a cold, snow girl. ❄
I did do a Christmas Story Spotlight this year on my Blog, highlighting one of my favorite Christmas stories that I did back in 2019. "The Christmas Card Lost to Time." If y'all wanna go check it out again, here's a quick link to it. 😊
I'm not sure how my future with Sims is looking for this year... 🤷🏻♀️ I haven't felt like playing much; my creative juices have been dry for months, sadly. I would like to write another story for 2026 and use the Sims as illustrations, but we'll just see what my brain allows me to do. I have so many goals for the new year to better improve myself. 👍🏻
Wishing y'all a Happy New Year and hoping and praying 2026 is much better! 🙏🏻🤞🏻✨
Quick question here: HotBlackSand Where did you get those amazing patterns you have on your Sims clothing?
While one of my Sims in a different save file is wandering around lonely due to her busy work schedule, my other Sim in another save file is off enjoying his vacation.
Heyck213... I run my Sims 3 at 1920x1080 resolution (16:9 ratio) and you can change your resolutions in Options. I also cannot give you any advice regarding Sims 4, because I have never owned it, and never will. 😆
I have a serious gaming rig and have tried pushing a higher resolution/ratio, but it starts to affect the gameplay. I think it is because Sims 3 is an older game, and when you have certain EP's (like Seasons and Pets) running, I am not sure if the game can effectively push the graphics no matter what your rig can handle, but I am no tech whiz either.
Good luck with getting your game set where you want it and hope you can get back into Sims 3 ... Looking forward to whatever you want to share, and it's great seeing you around here.
I downloaded just the base game today, but I am on an entirely different computer set up. My monitor is 5120x1440, but I have the game at an ultrawide 21:9 ratio. It looks good but the UI is tiny. That's going to give me serious eye-strain. There is a UI fix on Modthesims, but it looks a bit involved and I am wondering if I should bother with this rabbit hole of getting the Sims 3 into shape, or sticking with The Sims 4. 😛
YeessssSilverJanSims... Chi absolutely nailed that dive.
Completely remodeling the Base Camp is not really necessary, especially if you don't spend a lot of time there. It's still nice to drop a few things in that will make everything run smoother. I see that Chi and Bahiti are just moving along in their adventures and taking advantage of a lot that is available.
Have you decided what nectars you are going to make yet? I know a few good recipes, and how to rotate the recipes and stock to keep the prices and quality of the nectar high. But that's only if you want to use nectar to supplement their income. Your Sims can make good nectar that they can enjoy, earn lots of Lifetime Reward Points drinking, but that doesn't require the same degree of management that making nectar for profit does.
Hope Your Holidays Are Going Well ... And Happy Simming ... 💖
graceymanors Enjoyed your most recent update and hope that things work out for the new owners of the lighthouse.
Hope you're all having a Merry Monday and Christmas!
Just stopping by with an update from Chi & Bahiti Crockett in Twinbrook where Chi was finally able to complete the MorcuCorp adventure series in Egypt. A few days later took her first trip to China to learn some special music techniques from the Special Merchant who is Zhang Hua this time around. Chi also helped Jiang Lu and his family by retrieving the special antique relic from the Halls of the Lost Army tomb for them. During her three day stay in China, Chi also purchased recipe books for stir-fry and egg rolls along with one on how to catch some Chinese fish for Bahiti in case she travels there some day even though she's not much of an adventurer due to her 'coward' trait. Chi made a few friends while she was in China, harvested some pomelos and cherries at the local garden and then visited the Scholar's Garden before her trip ended. Enjoy the rest of Chi's update below in photo/commentary style which mainly consist of Chi's trips to Egypt and China.
Although nothing special happened to Bahiti in this visit although she was finally able to find her fourth critter, a lizard who was lurking in the bullrushes near the rickety bridge near her home. Critters have been hard to spot in Twinbrook but Bahiti will soon be able to get the 'collection helper' with her happiness points so that should make things easier for her as she seeks to become a zoologist. Will have to wait and see how things work out between Bahiti and her romantic interest, Notzo since there is quite and age difference between them. Bahiti hopes to be able to continue their romantic relationship after graduation and find time to hang out with him more between now and then.
Shortly after arriving in Egypt on her most recent trip there, Chi headed back to the Pyramid of the Sky to finish searching for the Relic of Life. After finding the relic along with some other treasures including harvesting some life fruit, photographing a money tree and adding to her ancient coin collection, Chi spent the night sleeping in her tent there. Before heading delivering the relic to Farouk the next day, Chi explored the rest of the hidden rooms the next morning and got roughed up by a mummy while looking inside a sarcophagus but thankfully he let her go and decided not to come out. Chi also found enough of King's Sarcophagus pieces to reconstruct two of them back home. I had prevent her from trying to sleep in the 'cursed' black one before selling it but she was able to keep the second one which turned out to be a gold one. There were also enough pieces of a pushable statue to put one together so she and Bahiti should be able to get pictures of each other pushing it for their photo collections. She also pieced together a dive well which she put among some of the bullrushes that are in the backyard of her home.
In these next few photos, Bahiti is searching for the Relic of Eternity inside the Great Pyramid.
Chi completing a tomb challenge by clearing her 10th rubble pile.
Chi digging through the digsite inside the hidden room at the back of the room where she found the keystone she needed to access the core area of the Great Pyramid after spending the night in her tent in the tomb. Guess her brother, Chang took all the good stuff (so-to-speak) since it seemed like it was mostly cheap relics in the pile this time although I guess it all adds up as she reached 5000 simoleons worth of relics found overall in her adventures thus far. Guess I forgot get a picture of the mummies where she found the Relic of Eternity but Chi had a much easier time of getting rid of them than Chang had as she only had to step on the floor switch a couple of time before both of them had walked into the flame traps.
Before her trip in Egypt ended, Chi found time to sketch her good friend, Mena Lufti who was really happy with the drawing that Chi gave her. Mena is posing above while her sister, Aisha has her nose stuck a book.
This is the black King's sarcophasus that Chi reconstructed. Legend says that those who sleep in these ones, wake up with a curse. Chi started to sleep in it but I managed to get her out of it in time to get rid of it in 'buy mode'. The next sarcophagus that Chi was able to reconstruct was a normal gold one which she placed next to her garage but hasn't slept in it, yet.
Shortly after returning from Egypt, one of Bahiti's snakes passed away and both she and her mother mourned for the poor critter before cleaning the terrarium.
The downstairs hobby room is starting to take shape with nectar making corner and a few relic display & nectar shelves. The room combines shades of both Bahiti's & Chi's favorite colors: (Ink Black 212122) for Bahiti and (Pastel Aqua D5F6FB) for Chi. A martial arts training dummy and block breaker have been added since Chi returned from China.
Here are a couple of pictures of Chi searching for the ancient relic during her first trip to China.
Chi's 10 point dive into the dive well for HotBlackSand
Instead of completely remodeling the Base Camp kitchen, Chi decided to donate the nice fridge, stove and dishwasher that she had been given for being a celebrity. Chi also replaced the camp's old trash compactor. Chi's fellow explorers enjoyed the waffles and mushroom omelet she cooked for them each morning for breakfast.
After harvesting some pomelos & cherries, Chi read a book before she finished her trip to China by visiting the Scholar's Garden before returning home to Twinbrook.
Now that I have my new Sims 4 game set up and it seems to be working alright now, I'm probably going to be playing that game during the week but plan to continue playing Sims 3 on the weekends. Plan to visit with Chang & Honey this coming weekend so hope to have an update from them next week.
Hope that you all have a fun and relaxing holiday season and a Happy New Year from the Munson and both Crockett families!
In other notes, I shared a new randomly created household to my Sims 3 studio that I created last evening to add an new family to Twinbrook since the game seems to have forgotten to generate new households now that most of the original family children and teens are now all grown up.
Wasn't feeling my christmas story so I started a new one based on The Ghost and Mrs Muir Tv Series
he wind had a way of worrying the stones at Gull Lighthouse, slipping its fingers through every crack and seam as though trying to pry the place loose from the cliff itself. Outside, the sea rolled in its familiar gray restlessness, breaking against the rocks below with the steady patience of something that had all the time in the world.
Inside, Claymore stood near the hearth, rubbing his hands together more from habit than cold. He had never quite managed to feel entirely at ease in this place, not since he’d learned—much against his will—that he did not occupy it alone.
“Well,” he said aloud, clearing his throat, “I suppose you’ll hear it sooner or later.”
There was no answer at first. Only the ticking of the old clock and the low moan of the wind funneling up the tower.
Claymore sighed. “Captain Gregg,” he added, louder now. “If you’re skulking about—and I know you are—you may as well show yourself.”
A faint shimmer gathered near the window, like heat rising off stone, and then resolved into the unmistakable figure of Captain Daniel Gregg.
He stood with arms folded, sea coat buttoned high, expression carved from equal parts irritation and authority. His gaze swept the room, then settled sharply on Claymore.
“Mind your tone, Claymore,” the Captain said coolly. “This is my lighthouse.”
Claymore gave a tight, nervous smile. “Yes. Well. That’s rather what I wanted to speak to you about.”Captain Gregg’s eyes narrowed. “You’ve that look,” he said. “The one you get when you’re about to do something foolish.”
Claymore bristled. “Now see here—”
“Out with it,” the Captain snapped. “I haven’t all eternity to waste on your dithering.”
Claymore took a breath. “I’ve sold Gull Lighthouse.”
The silence that followed felt heavier than the stone walls themselves.
Captain Gregg stared at him, utterly still. Then, very softly, “You’ve done what?”
The Captain’s form flickered, as though the air itself had taken offense. “You had no right,” he said, voice low and dangerous. “This house was not yours to sell.”
Claymore spread his hands helplessly. “Be that as it may, the deed was in my name. And upkeep is frightfully expensive, you know. Roof leaks, stairs groan, ghost
Captain Gregg took a step forward. “Careful.”
Claymore swallowed. “The new owner arrives tomorrow.”
The Captain’s jaw tightened. “Who?”
“A woman,” Claymore said. “Mrs. Lucy Muir. A widow. She’s bringing her two children with her.”…
At that, something shifted—just slightly—in the Captain’s expression. Not softness, exactly, but interest unwillingly stirred.
“Children,” he repeated.
“Yes,” Claymore said quickly. “Quite young, I believe. And she seems… determined. Insisted on the place despite my warnings.”
“Warnings?” the Captain said dryly.
Claymore coughed. “Well, I may have mentioned the wind. And the isolation. And the general unsuitability for polite society.”
“And still she’s coming,” the Captain said.
“So it seems.”
Captain Gregg turned toward the window, gazing out at the restless sea. For a long moment, he said nothing. The wind rose, rattling the panes as if impatient for his judgment.
“At least,” he said at last, “she’ll have spirit if she’s chosen this place.”
Claymore brightened, sensing the danger ebb—slightly. “Oh yes. Quite a bit of it, I’d say.”
The Captain allowed himself the faintest hint of a smile. “Then we shall see,” he said. “Gull Lighthouse has a way of sorting out those who belong… and those who don’t.”
Claymore shivered, though the fire burned steadily.
Outside, the sea surged forward, as though eager for the arrival of its new keeper.
Hope you're all having a Tremendous Tuesday and lots of fun with your Sims.
DivinylsFan Yes, I remember that you had access to Sims 3 site and think I accidentally mixed you up with another simmer who was having a hard time. I'm usually really patient when in comes to game glitches and the Sims websites being down from time to time whether it be Sims 3 or 4. As for not having everything downloaded from the store, usually when I've been away from the game for a long time, I generally add my store stuff gradually as I need them while making sure the game is going to work well. Guess with all of the game issues that used to occur in the game before Sims 4 came out, should have added more things before hand but sometimes these things cannot be predicted. I just like to make sure that everything runs smoothly each time I start playing after extended absences. Although with my new gaming laptop and lots of storage space, I could probably add most things now except for the things that I don't really use. Hopefully the Purchase History page will work again soon to make things easier to find if I need them but for now I can just do a generally search in the Store to find them.
Sprottenham Yes, Casper didn't really have any facial features as young ghost in the cartoon. When creating him as a Sim, I think that I just used the random Sim that came up in CAS, turned him into a white or gray ghost or whichever tone looked the closest to Casper's white ghost color. I forget which cause of death those ghost colors represented. Was just looking through my Sims 3 studio and can't believe that I didn't share Casper & Wendy when they were first created but there a few of their descendents were shared with their families. One of their daughters was both a ghost and witch at the same time. Maybe I'll reactivate one of those households at some point when I decide to use all of the expansions in a game save.
Congrats on Dudley Racket becoming a father in your game. He's one of the nicer sims in the Racket family along with Shark who I played for a short time after he married one of my Sims a long time ago. The game crashed shortly after that so I didn't get to play him for long. Enjoyed your update as well. I have a Blogspot account as well but haven't used it for a long time but I have some old Sims 4 stories there. My blog name there is SilverJan's Creations.
BylineBelife Glad that Kitty's nectar business is going well. Jarrod's wife, Holly (Alto) needs to get back to making nectar soon to complete her nectar lessons by Jules Fournier. She's been too busy painting for her Painter career while working to max the skill for her Master of the Arts LTW.
Now for an update from Jarrod & Holly Munson where Jarrod just became a grandparent after Jarvis & Bella welcomed their firstborn son, Dennis into the world just before my visit with them ended. Little Dennis is a brave little boy but a 'light sleeper' and loves the color 'lime'.
Jarrod & Holly now have the 'Eternally Faithful' reputation but their 'guide' has to help them keep that status as 'she' has had to stop him from trying to flirt with his daughter-in-law, Bella and guess it's probably due to Jarrod's 'irresistible' trait that she sometimes falls for Jarrod's advancements but so far it hasn't affected her relationship with Jarvis that much other than making him a bit upset but she apologizes to him right afterwards. Thankfully I was able to get Jarrod the 'Above Reproach' reward trait, so his 'moments of weakness' haven't come back to haunt him and he seeks Holly's forgiveness as well. I have been thinking of putting Jarvis & Bella in their own game save at some point but waited until Jarrod could at least become a grandfather. Will wait to see how much 'protecting' of each couple's 'Eternally Faithful' reputation I have to do in future visits. Bella has just joined the firefighter profession, so maybe with her working at the fire department most days after maturity leave is over that should help for now. Now that Jarvis is in the science career, more travel opportunities should come up for him (hopefully) to either China or Egypt. So far, since playing the household on my new laptop the only trips in this household have been to France.
Jarrod & Holly's daughter, Callie is doing well in grade school and is on the Honor Roll. She is also best friends with her 'Imaginary Friend', Carter so due to there not being many teens left in Sunset Valley due to the game just beginning it's 10th Sim week, Holly may make Carter real once she becomes a teenager and has an A grade in school. After adding the Lum household (from the game bin) to the game last visit, Becky's son, Topher should soon be starting school so that would add another classmate for her.
Here are the pictures from my visit with the Munson family.
Here is Callie getting her new school clothes and is sporting her new 'Hot pink' themed everyday outfit. She's disciplined and athletic but a loner like her older half-brother, Jarvis.
Bella also got herself a new wardrobe with lots of 'red' clothes and is wearing her 'Athletic' outfit above that features the 'Fire Engine' red shade.
Callie having a fun pillow fight with her imaginary friend, Carter. She has already been given the opportunity to send a rainbow gem to the science center for the potion but has to wait until she gets an A grade in high school to do so.
After buying some recipe books at the bookstore, Bella decided to do some dumpster diving and found a 'kicky' bag.
After Bella got home and showered, she and Jarvis spent some romantic time together in bed. It took them a few times to 'Try for a Baby' before Bella became pregnant a couple of days later.
Cuddling on the couch the next day.
Jarvis having fun with his drums after gaining his first drum playing skill.
Bella finding out she's pregnant. Although she got a new everyday maternity outfit she got to keep her red boots.
Holly & Jarrod having a fun game of ping pong on their new table.
Jarrod tickling the piano ivories. Must remember to have the picture frame on the left painted to match the other during my next visit.
After watching a free game at the stadium after her first week in school, Callie went down to the beach to do some fishing in hopes of fulfilling her wish to learn the skill. Although she caught three minnows, Callie just needs a little more practice to complete her wish.
Will leave you with this picture of Jarvis & Bella newborn baby boy, Dennis who arrived in the early evening hours of the last day of my visit.
Note: Now that I'm able to play Sims 4 again, I'm planning to split my playing time between both games. Not sure if it will be every other day or alternate months. Will be playing Sims 3 mainly for now until I finish getting things set up in Sims 4 for now, though.
