what happens to your Sim when a zombie attacks it?

so far i have only had one Sim attacked by a zombie..when she was out at a club.. nothing strange seemed to happen to her.. i usually just x out of it when a zombie tries to attack.... i can't interact with them in any other way that i know of...

what happens if your Sim turns into a zombie? i haven't seen an elixer to fix it....

there are very few elixers to buy at the elixer store......

like i have never seen the one for vampires to keep them from getting bothered by the sun during the day... so i have to keep them indoors all day.. sighs....

do you have to make that elixer or can you buy it? same question with the zombie cure elixer?

thanks in advance....

  • I've never had a zombie attack my Sim, they were always much more interested in eating the garden. If your Sim turns into a zombie, hit them with a Cure potion or a Potent Cure.

The stock for the Elixir store is random, and only ever stocks a few prepared potions at a time. Usually only 1 or 2 recipes. And mostly components for making your own elixirs. Alchemy is your friend. Otherwise, try buying what's there and seeing if it restocks with something else. I once spent over 200k trying to find a specific potion for sale there. And as far as I know, every potion that's for sale can also be made at the Alchemy station.
  • IF the Zombie happens to actually bite your Sim and turn him/her and you don't want to wait for the (I think it's a) 24 hr moodlet to wear off, don't waste a Potent Cure - just use a Cure elixir. Potent Cures are for curing permanent states.
You can also have a Witch cast the Sunlight charm to cure.

Being bitten is temporary. Your Sim can only be a permanent Zombie if they are hit with a Potent Zombification elixir or Witch's spell.
  • thanks both of you for the tips... :)

this Sim i am talking about is kind of my experimental Sim.. i don't want to chance
it with my Sims that i am really loving and working on their lives to make them fulfill their lifetime wishes etc.....

  • I always lock my sims in their house so they don't get attacked by zombies but now I know there's a cure I guess it doesn't matter. Is there a cure for potent zombification aswell?

That's a case for the Potent Cure elixir. Any permanent Supernatural status will be cured it.
That's why you should choose the Cure elixir if a Sim has been bitten by a Zombie. If you had a Fairy that was bitten, the Potent Cure would also cure her Fairy status - unless of course you no longer wanted her to be a Fairy as well. :D
  • I've never had a problem with a Zombie Attack because I could always toggle it off. When a Zombie Attacks one of my Sims, the whole household go on the offensive.

Witch - Fire or Ice Blast
    Fairies - Cast any spell
    Vampire - Hunt (attack them)
    Genie - Banish (best spell)

Everybody can use Bee Attack potion or Sleep Potion on Zombies.

Nothing like seeing a Zombie on fire running away from bees!

  • Zombies can never actually attack my Sims, they always try but nothing ever happens. I really don't understand that because it'd be kinda cool to be a zombie for a little while lol
  • So if I understand correctly, if a zombie attacks your Sim and bites him or her, it's only temporary. That's good to know! I have been keeping my Sims locked in the house on the full moon just because of this. I was also getting ready to get a butler to help around the house and was concerned about that as well.
