Which hair style for my new Jamie Fraser sim?

I have eliminated one of the styles from consideration leaving these 3.

Originally I made him with the first hair style in mind, then thought the second was closer to how he looks sometimes in the "Outlander" series but liked the last one the best. So I'm going with that one. @ZeeGee the last one is a retexture of Newsea's Chained Reaction hair style. The link to Ctenid's retexture that I have is no longer working but here is another one by Jas .

I have made some tweaks to him. I decided to give him more chin but ended up tweaking cheeks, jaw, chin and mouth a little. I added more red in his hair as @coco and @Scrapdash suggested. It shows up more when he's outside in the sun. Where the sun is not shining directly on his hair it looks darker.

When the game I was playing had difficulties I stopped and haven't been playing Sims 3 lately, mostly building, also playing other games and RL stuff. But I've been thinking about trying witches for the first time. I am thinking about making a household of 3 sisters who are witches. They will be younger, glamorized versions of me and my 2 sisters. :) I decided I needed some new male sims for my 3 witches and since I've been watching the new season of Outlander ...

So to answer about my plans for making a Claire sim, I don't really have any, but if anyone is interested in doing so I'd love to see your sim versions of her.

I started reading the Outlander books right before the second one came out. I read those 2 but got tired of waiting for them to be written and ended up not reading any more of them. The same thing happened to the Song of Fire and Ice series (Game of Thrones). I read the first 3 but determined not to read any more until the whole series was written and published. In the meantime I'm completely enjoying both TV shows and don't have any mixed feeling because things aren't the same as the books. :)

I agree about the body hair. I don't really like EA's body hair. I have an accessory body hair that I like but I have to add it to every outfit. I didn't bother to use it for these pictures but before I use him in a game I will add it.

Anyone know of a default replacement body hair?

I don't know the character. My opinion was just based on what I thought looks best on the sim. Thanks for the link!

Well, considering how much of a beast that the ancestor was...and the fact that Tobias Menzies had to play BOTH roles, yep...and diametrically opposed characters in terms of temperament and having to differentiate between each role...yeah...I'd say. First of all: great job, he's 100% Jamie (in the tv series anyway, never read the books). Instinctively I go for the first hairstyle (the one from Supernatural) because it looks the most robust yet soft/sweet and somehow that suits Jamie for me.

I use TummyZa's Additional Body hair

It's in the body hair category so you don't have to reapply for every outfit. Don't be put off by the colours they've used in the preview pics to show it off, it is lovely in game, and quite subtle. Not like the hideous crayon scribblings that EA provided us with.
Ugh.

Edit - I've read all the books, I love them. In the beginning, I wasn't keen on the TV series. Claire didn't seem to be "Claire" to me, and neither did Jamie. That said, I've watched a few more episodes, and they're all right in their roles though.
I far prefer the books however.

There are very few shows that I like when I've read and really liked the books the show was based on. I really liked the Sukie Stackhouse books and put up with True Blood for 1 season, mainly because I like Alexander Skarsgard. But couldn't bear to watch how they ruined the characters from the books. The only show I liked, even though they changed the characters from the books, was Vampire Diaries. Although once the Originals spun off to a separate show Vampire Diaries went downhill. Because of that I'm actually glad I didn't read more of the Outlander books or the Game of Throne books ( Although I may still read those if George R R finishes the series. :) )

the only one my wife hasn't read is MOHB. She said she should have gotten it a long time ago, but other things demanded the "book money". :D
