- EvilBnuuyNew RookieMost of my builds are modern, but I do want to try and make more rural themed builds when I get hold of Cottage Living.
- My favorite is Cape Cod cottages.
https://i.imgur.com/6EUOHd0.png - honestly its a tie between historical, fantasy, victorian, townhouses and gothic
but i think it just comes down to: if i mix anything with spoopy its great fun
so I'll choose gothic cause i will really struggle with builds that cannot be spoopy (or at least ornate and dark) cause thats sad - SharoooniaNew SpectatorI think I'm somewhere between modern and townhouse. I like homes that fit in with the aesthetic of the world they are in.

well also this. I wouldn't really make spoopy mansion in del sol valley - DoloresGreySeasoned NewcomerNothing specific, just based on my country's architecture. Both modern and a little bit old-ish.
- I've said this before, this may sound familiar. Like non extravagant 70s, the home I lived in the past. What I remember is white, lace curtains, vertical wood panel walls, warm wood tones, items as dish holders, lamp stands E.T.C. Were colored golden, red and brown themes, leather couches, aditi rugs, tiled foyer, tan carpets, and tall, bland lamps.
- Chicklet45368Rising TravelerI had to go with "Other" because none of the choices fit.
I typically gravitate to Mid-Century Modern, single story suburban homes or Cape-Cod Cottages (because that is similar to my RL houseL).
I do also like the look of the Spanish/Southwestern style homes that are in the ritzier part of Oasis Springs with the stucco walls and reddish roofing (but only in that neighborhood).
I also only place lots down that go with that world's vibe to match all of the stooopid fake buildings, so I am pretty limited on the worlds I use to "live in". Visiting other worlds with different architecture is fine, but actually playing a sim who is living in a world, the aesthetics must match that world for me because it's wayyyyyyy too jarring to have ultra modern houses plunked down and walk around the neighborhood and see some turn of the century monstrosity homes right next door. - DaraviNew TravelerI like to build in different styles, so I've got never bored with one style, it's based on the current story. I love my Gdansk and Bergen inspired houses like I love my late 19th century (prussian or hanseatic style) building or medieval houses, I do also love my aquatic resident for water elemental (fantasy) or the sci-fi builds. I had fun with building a Classicism council house with lots of outside decor (quite challenging) or trying out to build a house based on the Bauhaus architecture style or a modern townhouse.
- MDianaSimsSeasoned HotshotEssentially anything that isn't modern. But I have built a lot of Victorian style houses, as well as Tudor and cottages.
