Why are random sims coming to my sim's house and using my pool?-lock please-

This is the second sim that did this, sims pull up, come into my backyard and start swimming in my pool like its a public pool, then they stand outside my front door and stomp their feet cause they can't get in to use the bathroom.

Put a fence around your pool, and then when you place the gate, be sure to lock it to your household only.

I've had this happen once, the mailman decided to take a dip after he delivered the mail. After that I put up a fence.

    What a creepy mail man!

Remove the steps from the pool... you might be able to drown some of them.

Sims don't need steps to get in and out of pools in TS3. Great idea in principle though!

I've seen that Michael Bachelor 'floundering' in a pool, with low energy levels... he was getting pretty desperate, too... random sims kept swimming around him and splashing him in the face... a group of sims congregated around the steps and stopped him from getting out....
    he drowned. LOL

Looking back on this incident, I've got a nasty feeling I witnessed a murder. :|

    Just a thought, here....

You dont have ur house listed as a Community Lot, do you ?

If you do, change it to Residential Lot.

    R47 :)

    Is that even possible?
My pool also doesn't have stairs.

And tonight some sims came and went into my backyard and started harvesting my garden and cooking on my grill.
  • I have my sims house fenced with secure gating.

And everyday hear continual protesting and see the mail lady stamping her feet with the pool blocked thought bubble.

The paparazzi do the same thing, I often have them and some passing sim out the front stamping their feet until a mod resets them for being a so called unroutable sim.

Sims will always flock to whatever they think is fun, they don't seem to understand it's a private residence, no such thing seems to exist for them.
If you hate sims treating your house like their playground all you can do is securely fence your property to keep tresspassers out.
  • Smite them; buy the cowplant.

Or just build a fence around your pool. But that's a boring option really.

Sure is possible... go to Edit Town and select ur own house. All the Lot details are listed and can be changed at will. (Ive never had cause to do this, tho, so I cant guarantee the outcome).

I think some SERIOUS fencing would be in order, other than that, I go with KoumoriDiru :

    SMITE THEM. Vewy wuffly. :x
