Will this Laptop run The Sims 3 With All Expansions at Ultra Settings?

Hello everyone,
I really want to know if this laptop https://www.amazon.it/ASUS-VivoBook-B098XTR1NK-Anti-Glare-i5-11300H/dp/B098XTR1NK#aw-udpv3-customer-reviews_feature_div
will run The sims 3 with all expansion packs/stuff packs/store content (I only use all worlds and premium content sets/objects/venues) at ultra settings properly... I don't use very much CC and mods.
Thanks in advance!
  • Yes, this laptop should be able to handle ultra graphics settings even with all packs installed. You'll still need to turn down the settings for water and high-detail lots, but that's about lowering the demands on the game engine, not protecting the laptop's hardware.
  • @puzzlezaddict Thank you very much! But it's true that I need to avoid Windows 11 for the moment? I've read that is currently causing problems for many..
  • Windows 11 is completely fine for most people who have supported hardware, and this laptop's hardware is definitely supported. On the off chance that you have trouble with 11, you can always clean-install 10, but it really shouldn't be an issue.

The one suggestion I have is that while you're setting up the computer, before you have any data to lose, make sure OneDrive isn't syncing your Documents folder. This can and will interfere with Sims 3, among other games. You can exclude Documents from syncing:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/choose-which-onedrive-folders-to-sync-to-your-computer-98b8b011-8b94-419b-aa95-a14ff2415e85

or just unlink OneDrive entirely. You can always adjust the settings later, but it's easier when you don't have any data to preserve.

I should say that OneDrive is an issue in both 10 and 11, on any new Windows computer.
