Well I sure hope the update helps. As I said I started reading about it when I was deciding what OS to put on my latest HD but I honestly did not read the entire manual - I went from intently reading to that place where our eyes gaze over and my brain starts wanting to freeze out what it seems to think is useless info or perhaps really is info that goes over my head a bit - and then sort of just scanned over rest of the info - knowing even at the gaze over point there was no way in Hades I was interested in 8.
But I do understand being stuck with what comes in the package. Beside you have the benefit of new - and in my book new is always at least fun and somewhat exhilarating in itself. I do envy that to be honest, but seeing I could not justify rebuilding at this point anyway, I will just have to sit here green with envy - built or bought - it is new. hehehe
