World Explorers - Chapter 4

So I'm double posting. :-o
I had created a performer sim, a singer, so I could test the performance venues in Izabo Atol; I also placed a few other families from my bin in the world to help get the population started. She was doing a concert at the park when Eduardo GilsCarbo walks onto the stage with Goopy and deposits him behind her, then he walks back in front of the stage to watch the concert. If you look closely you can see little Goopy behind my sim up on the stage. :shock:
Of course she wasn't happy about this at all and after she completed her song, she turned around and chewed out poor little Goopy. :(
Suddenly Eduardo ran off so Goopy was transported back home, at least I presume. After her concert my sim went across the street because as it turns out, that's where Eduardo ran off to. To a protest! Apparently a protest in favor of gardening! Py's sim Bernard is also there, as is Reggie, just rabble rousing up a storm. :mrgreen:
But then the spoil sport police show up to break up the protest and all the protesters disperse. I need to play more because I had never seen this before and thought it was hilarious. It's as if they are saying; 'Who, me? I'm not doing anything'. 8)
Meanwhile, in other news - as I mentioned, my sim is living on Vacation Island. I plopped her down in aminovas' very cool Eco house. She met Johnny Deep on the path from the Lighthouse; he lives across the street from her. It sure is a busy path! As I mentioned in your thread, TammyJo, there are a lot of stops and starts on it because of the routing issues - they come face to face with someone heading in the opposite direction and just stop cold because it takes them so long to calculate another route. Same thing happens when a sim behind them is going the same speed or faster. It doesn't seem like this would be part of the lagging problem but it made me wonder!
My sim and Johnny hit it off immediately and started flirting. The next day my sim asked him on a date to the Vampire Lounge, but it took her so long to get there in her little sail boat that she had to invite him there again after she arrived. :lol: But the scenery on the way there sure was beautiful.
Their first date was a smashing success. They ordered a Shrimp Platter and won some money on the slots. Then Johnny asked her to move in with him! That's only happened in my games 2 or 3 times, so I went for it and agreed for my sim to move in with Johnny Deep.
So now they live in this tres chic modern house from Tammyjo's house contest.
Anyway, just been testing TammyJo's world and having fun at the same time so I just had to share. :wink:
