Hey! I've kinda been avoiding the forums because of the craziness that's going over Sims 4.
To give my own thoughts real quick, I've been trying to keep away from as much information as I can, as I said I would, but the one thing that does bother me is the lack of CASt from the game.
I won't miss toddlers, since they don't do much anyways, and I'm sure they've made it up with more baby and child interactions. Besides, I may be mistaken, but I believe that they said that once they start expanding the game, they'll focus first on toddlers and possibly preteens (there's a space for preteens, since they're about the same size as adults. I think Tangie touched up on that?).
People are being too negative, IMO, and we really need to try the game out first. I mean, we couldn't edit spaces outside of lots at the beginning of TS3 - that came in an update (Ambitions, I believe). It'll get better as we go along - we're getting a base game here; not a fully updated game 10 years in the making. People thought TS3 would suck, too, but now they love it!
And people have also been building up this dream image in their heads over the past 5 years over what they wanted TS4 to look like, and get all up in a fluster when it doesn't look like what they thought it would. The base game could have had anything in it, and they did what they could with the time they had. I'm excited for it, myself!
But, with that aside, I hope everyone's doing well! :)
And I think I'm ready to start a thread for my new world. I can't tell if it's looking blegh or looking great, but I'm excited! :)
I'm really hoping to get this world finished soon, but it doesn't look like that it'll happen for a long time. :?
