World Explorers - Chapter 4

Oh DM - I want you to talk about how you feel about it - please - I would never expect the same view I have on things with almost anyone else. I am sure if this was a few years ago and I saw all I see through so many's eyes on the forums - believe me, I am not blind, well at least not anymore hehehe (at least that was fixed) - I'd probably be where you are. Believe me. I didn't do tons of stuff, go lots of places I wanted to, and buy so many things over my lifetime - thinking that one day in the future I'd have time for everything without hassles or anything - and then I get this roadblock in my life that didn't even allow me to even reach retirement age (the future I had planned to do everything) and just put a stop to just about everything. It is just the Sims is about the only thing I have left that I can still do and still manage to have fun with. I like that I can get lost in the game and leave reality out while I play. But seriously I just try and focus on the good things I have heard and make arguments why I don't need the bad side - if you know what I mean. I outright cringed at the thought of a delay - then felt awfully guilty because I realized all my friends probably wanted it delayed too. It didn't help either to realize a little over a month ago a woman who was diagnosed when I was and we both started the same treatment regiment the same exact day - she was even 6 years younger than I am. Her daughter was expecting her first grandchild even. - well she died and didn't even live to see the baby. The baby isn't due until mid September.
- So you could say my view is very skewered to start with. So please speak your mind. I promise it will not bother me. I realize I am the"odd man out". hehehe
