- ZombieParySeasoned NoviceAw, that's looking really good. There is something that is so satisfying about building up a world to your own tastes. I have ... a lot... of them on the go all at once, so it takes me forever just to get one finished, but it feels so relaxing to just build with no expectations, and eventually end up with something that is just right for you.
- @Rflong7 Not only are you extremely talented but you are one of the most generous simmers I have known. Every time I see you making worlds to meet the needs/desires of other simmers it warms my heart <3
- Rflong7Rising Vanguard@Evalen It looks Great! Thanks so much.
The lighthouse is adorable. You don't' know but there was the game lighthouse right there before I moved it for you. You can see it in the distance of your picture, which is Awesome! :heart:https://i.imgur.com/j4KrGV1.jpg

Hi Rflong7
I know the world is smaller than i am used to playing in but if you could add all the rabbit hole lots with your own builds plus the The Boardwalk lot of yours which would be the central fun centre for my sims to enjoy I think I can add the rest in residential houses, sims and the equestrian centre to make it a horse/pet world. Of course any beach residential/community lots you might add would be awesome as I find it so hard to fit lots exactly right in those sorts of locations so that would make me an an even happy bunny if you are willing :)
Oh, girl. I'm gonna make you an unhappy bunny. :(
I can't fit all of the rabbitholes on this map without using most of the combine. Seeing as how I'm playing with the base game right now, I will add one expansion to try and fit most of the rabbitholes for you.
Beach lots... hm. You show me which ones you want and I'll try and place them for you. That's the best I got. :(
But... I did edit the map to what you might want to use. You'll have to add the boardwalk lot since I don't have all the store stuff installed (I did install a world to edit this for you, knowing how you liked other edits).

*I changed the sand to lighter than what the picture shows.
This map is just too small to have everything. :("@ZeeGee;c-17578381" wrote:
Rflong7 I love this world so much! I've been looking for something like this for awhile. Thank you. And thanks, Evalen for asking for it too. ANd I love what you've done with it.
Yay~ Awesome! :cookie:"@Mikezumi;c-17578737" wrote:

Thank you but it's just pure self interest. I enjoy CAW but I'm not as inspired by my own ideas any more. I get fun out of it. :cookie:  - Hi @Rflong7
I have just spent my available time sitting at the PC today searching for the lots I want to add to this world and you have not made any comments that could even remotely be described as making me an unhappy bunny because I am well aware of my limitations to understand the ways of CAW and world building in general lol (in particular I have no idea whatsoever what the word combine means with relation to any world-) Then i noticed I the pic and how you have added my most favorite beach/LP over the water lots so i can send my sims for their fun plus have some of my sims live over the water because for some reason I just have to try and have that in all the world's I am playing in lately -)
If i could state I totally love the extra beach lots you have added so far (you know my game so well-) but hoping you could give me a little more time to decide on further beach lots you have asked about as I really want to study the map a little further to decide what will work with the overall world theme I am going for? Also wondering if you can tell me if there is a certain size of lot I can go up to beach wise to ensure it does not look too much out of place then i can search for relevant sized lots and let you know. Oh and is there a way to say get one diving lot or is that totally out of the question or come under this mysterious combine title/word haha? :)
I love this little world and am really enjoying searching for lots for it and envisaging how i want it to look and the play style i am going for so thank you for providing yet another project (as if I need more-) to enjoy it is much appreciated and is currently stimulating me very much :)
Oh and edit: can I still any multi rabbit hole lots i come across or does everything need to be a seperate rabbit hole in this world? - @Rflong7 You are right I did not see it until after I put the light house in, it was night and I saw the light and it was so neat to see. shining so bright in the distance. I am using this light house for sims to go up in it and look through the telescope or sit and watch the sea. I love this world and you did a great job. love everything, still finding things you put in, like the mine. I am having so much fun with it. I just put my sims in, I am adding a campground also, after I play awhile.
- @Rflong7
Thank you for your patience I don't want to jump then look at map view and think heck whatever were you thinking there lol (OCD for sure-) and I so hope you are going to conduct plastic surgery on that sims 2 sim hahaha
so just to confirm that my beach lots can be any size or do I have to restrict myself in the choosing? - Rflong7Rising Vanguard

Well, 2 64x64 only - Res or Com. The others up to 60 long (into the water). The beaches aren't that big before it hits the end of the map.
@Evalen Wonderful! :mrgreen:
I think the Lighthouse lot looks so much better there. It's so cute. - @Rflong7 your sims 2 sim reminds of a gnome.
This world is adorable. I haven't built a world in SO long. But am finding I need to because I lost all my worlds in a computer crash. I think I will start the rebuild process this small world. - mw1525Seasoned Newcomer@Rflong7 - Sorry to hear your CAW inspiration is running low (at the moment). If you don't mind, I would like to share an idea with you concerning 'small or tiny' mapped worlds which I use in my own game, maybe it will spark some ideas for you.
I create what I call 'Neighborhood Worlds' (actually just a small town). A neighborhood world differs from a normal (larger) world not only because of its smaller scale but because it is more focused on whatever the theme of that neighborhood is. Plus, Sims will get to know all (or most) their neighbors (making for lots of stories and drama :))
These 'neighborhoods' consist of two or three dedicated residential areas, and include businesses which are essential to basic Sim life such as a grocery store, school, library, graveyard, hospital, police station and town hall (needed if NRaas is in play). All other businesses are dependent upon what type of neighborhood I am creating. I have family neighborhoods which focus on raising households with multiple children (schools, laundromats and parks are essential for this neighborhood). Military neighborhoods which focus on military and town support. Mixed Ethnic neighborhoods which just promotes Sims of various culturally inspired backgrounds to come together and share their cultures through a variety of specialized community lots and activities. And, so-on.
Some of my neighborhoods may have a Fire Station or Newspaper business in them, while others do not. Some may have museums, Day Spas, Bars or stadiums while other do not, it all depends on the theme or purpose of the neighborhood.
Because the neighborhoods are created on tiny or small maps, population is kept at manageable levels (having available housing is key for Townies). Because not every business is included (although it is certainly possible to include all 11 base game careers and the four part-time jobs or swap with any which came in expansion packs) my PC doesn't have an immense amount of code to process and statistics to keep track of which makes things a bit easier (technically speaking). Parks, beaches and other mass community lots (all optional) can be maximized with activities which creates a bustling neighborhood and encourages Sim to Sim interactions.
Another thing I do, which not everyone can or may want to do is I build all my own structures. All residential housing be it single homes, duplexes, townhouse, apartment building, row houses or trailer parks are designed by me. The same goes for any career community lot, shoppe, restaurant (I use replacement rugs for these), park or community garden - I design them all. Since we have the ability to move homes, houses and community lots from one world to another, plop and play is the easiest method for setting up a base neighborhood world.
With a little imagination and all that the game has to offer, this could potentially be a challenge which you (or others) may find interesting...or not. Anyway, it is just an idea.
