Giving this a tiny bump
trying to figgure out the best way to safe and easy do the following:
1) get all the missing stencils as a obtion in my game
2) backup that option on my pc for later use.
any thoughts on that?
downloading every single item would make it easy to make a back up folder on my pc.
but it would be very many downloades, and keeping track of what I got and don't got would be hard.
on the other hand a few lots be les downloads.
But the keeping track problem is still there in the click - save version proces, and that be very many clicks.
provided there is 1 (or a few) mods totale that cover it all and I can figure them out I suspect that be the esier way.
But I'm still a little confused at the simalough
- save like other mods?
- new and old version?
I know I gotten guidance here before.... but clearly not enough for me to grasp it.... beside downloade and saw
the Imelda thing jsut confuses me....
especially this part:
Store files options: 1. Replace the contentpatch file in MyDocuments/ElectronicArts/TheSims3/Contentpatch with Imelda's Store Patch vanilla replacement file and add Imelda's store files to MyDocuments/ElectronicArts/TheSims3/Mods/Packages. This option leaves Imelda's changes in your mod package and removes
OR 2. Replace the contentpatch file in MyDocuments/ElectronicArts/TheSims3/Contentpatch with Imelda's Store Patch. This option will include all of Imelda's fixes inside the contentpatch file.
BOTH FILES WILL NEED TO BE RENAMED TO ContentPatch if you are using either of these options.
Those of you who play with the store patch already removed, please just add the Year files to mods.
For your own peace of mind, please make sure you keep a copy of the original store patch file somewhere else on your computer. Imelda can't be held responsible for forgetfulness or lack of foresight.
and whats OBJD mods? how do I know if a mod is that?
Or maybe I can use Dr Simalogue's Stencils?
but how does that work? is it just downloade rar... and it fill up my launcher and I install?
that wold actually be nice as that don't have all his others fixes that I don't think I want.
