1.42 Base Patch for Mac

So I used the instructions found here, http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/549552.page  I downloaded the right one, installed it after extracting and it didnt work My version in the launche...

I dont have the resource.cfg file if that helps?

Also I thought I should mention, theres some files just in the sims 3 folder not in a specific one

DeviceConfig.log

ScpritCache.package

simCompositorCahce.package

Sims3LauncherLogFile.log

tslus.bin

Version.tag
