Re: 400 - Bad Request

Hello everyone!

From yesterday i am facing a login issue at the "The sims3 launcher". 

See attached screenshot

After a several chat sessions with the advisors here is the steps what i already performed to solve the issue but it still persist.

Steps in order:

1: Clear cache
2: clear edge cache. (internet explorer mode not exists at current version)
3: Delete account.bin files, from document/ EA folder
4: Repair files.
5: Clean boot.
6: ipconfig / release -> ipconfig /flushdns -> ipconfig /renew
7: Change password.
8: Deleted the following: dccache, dc backup, downloads
9: Uninstall
10: clear all remaining folders and files
11: fresh new install
12: uninstall and clear again
13: ipconfig/flushdns -> ipconfig /registerdns -> ipconfig /release -> ipconfig /renew -> netsh winsock reset -> Reboot your computer
14: install again

 May i ask a help what can i do to solve the problem?

    Hi Lerdana85​,

    Did you clean the registry during the reinstallation to remove all traces?

    Did the launcher ever work on your PC, or do you have a new PC now?

    There is a custom launcher for Sims 3 from LazyDuchess. It's not directly from EA, but you could give it a try.

    Hello!

    no i didn't cleared the registry. 
    The launcher stopped working yesterday afternoon. Before that it worked as it should. 
    Can you link something where shows how to clear the registry step by step. 
    Can you link where can i find the custom launcher?
