A window pops up and says "Origin Already Running"... what do I do?

So I have bought myself Sims 3 about a month ago and it has been working perfectly until today. This morning, the game launcher wouldn't even open. So, I tried turning off the computer, and came back...

Right-click on the bar at the bottom of your Windows and choose Start Task Manager
Go to the tab Processes
Check if you have any process called origin.exe running. If so, kill it.

  mine is different, whenever i go into the task manager and close origin it still says origin is already running.
  
  please help, i'm not sure what to do.
