About patch 1.38/Error during start up. Please see the log for more details
I recently bought Sims 3 on Cd and everything works perfectly until I download and install patch 1.38.
After that it keeps saying "Error during start up. Please see the log for more details". I've looked around on different forums but nothing works. Read the tread here called "version 0.0.0.0." and done everything but nothing seem to work. Been installing and uninstalling manually several times but get this error every time.
Any ideas 😕mileyhappy: ? According to skuversion-file I got; GameVersion = 1.38.151.018002 and got no expansions.

You most probably have a not-matching registry key somewhere.
