I'm playing with the starter pack, and i can't get my sim to succesfully complete a day of work as an astronaut. I always make sure he has full bars before leaving but every time he stops working a few hours short of a full cycle, appears home without saying anything and doesn't get paid. Last time this happened i hovered my mouse on him and i got the message "[simname] is going home"
Community AdminThere are two things you can try.
1. Reset your Sim with the resetsim cheat code in the cheat console. To open the console press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + C - after that type resetsim <first name> <last name> into the console. For example: resetsim Jane Doe
2. If that does not help, make them quit the job and get it again. I know that's a little annoying as they have to start with the level 1 job again, but as they already have all the required skills they should get promoted rather fast.
it's usually the default outfit that can sometimes cause this when you get the carpool will be here in an hour message try have your sim change into the work outfit before they go to work if that works for you make the sim a new outfit when the sim gets back from work change the sim to everyday wear then go to dresser-plan outfit career tab make a new outfit if there is more than one career outfit delete the others
